Sonny Bono was a genius. I Got You Babe, Needles and Pins, Just You, Baby Don't Go, It's The Little Things. You don't write ten million sellers in the sixties without a whole lot of God given talent.

As a writer, true... I guess I was referring to his "singing and performing talent"...
We was a used car salesman type of genius for sure...

Lest we forget the luckiest bastard in the world. Kevin Federline. Man, did that loser make out like a bandit. He gets to boink Britney when she was still hot. Then when she's not so hot anymore, he gets her money and kids, leaving her a complete nutcase.

Cindy said boink LOL

if we're labelling 'success' as vocal ability/songwriting prowess,

then Kylie Minogue would top my list.

She cannot sing a note, and she cannot dance a step,
but has had enduring 'success',for nigh on 20 years.

Madonna would be a close second.

Yes, I agree with those who said Britney, Paris, Jessica Simpson( YUCK), but I don't agree with Mick on Madonna, and I dislike her! I can see her talent, her ability to be a step ahead of the pack, an innovator. I don't like her personality, her phony British accent and her slams against the Stones which is no doubt why Mick slammed her back! I'm truly glad her "star" has faded!
