In general for the music of course, but nowadays, especially the Stones concerts, maybe even more for the happening of beeing there with thousands of others, and maybe also for not knowing if this will be the last time or not.....

Living in an area not very often visited by the Stones ( Eastern Europe ), i had rare ocasions to see the band live ( five, until now ). Travelling long distances, every show was a very well, long time projected holiday trip. Never been in one place for half day just to see the show.Always had a mythic holiday in beautiful places: Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Dublin & Slane. Every place had a magic of its own, spiced by the presence of the fans.
Exception is the day when the Stones played in front of my home in Bucharest. A long awaited celebration, from the first rumour in January until the show day in July.
So what do I look for ? The band, the air, the celebration, the tongue t-shirts on everybody, the march to the venue, the crowd, the dark, the intro, THE RIFF, Keith's first error, the encore, the fireworks, the night after the show, the next show...

You must have been very unlucky NumberOneStonesFan: the show in Paris has been one with the most beautiful women I've seen at a Stones' gig! And at Ronnie's side fortunately there were lot of them!! And Carla Bruni has been spotted by some friends of mine at Keith's side!
I have to say I've seen many beautiful girls @ all the shows I've attended last summer. The average age was a little bit higher only at the London Shows, due to the price of the tickets, I believe.
