His rhythm guitar on Little Queenie suits perfectly with Jagger arrogance.

Also his great octave riff over the chorus on YCAGWYW from philly special 1972
one of the best melodic octave riffs ever IMO that enriched a song from the glimmers. and a bad ass melodic solo soaring to the heavens.

While I find Taylor the best lead guitarist ever, I don't think he was a particularly good rythm guitarist. If I had to pick a good rythm part it's Dancing With Mr. D. from Brussels, but that's more like soloing at low volume.

Besides those already mentioned:

-JJF during the '72 tour when he started playing his own riff
-GS during the '72 and '73 tours
-MR live during the '72 and '73 tours, either while Richards was soloing or during their interplay
-SFM, particularly during the chorus

There was a lot of great stuff with the Bluesbreakers and Dylan as well, with the live stuff being especially impressive.

Rocket in the Pocket - Bluesbreakers '82 - absolute dynamite rhythm guitar from Mick Taylor.

strongly agree with OpenG and Joker; and actually with most of the above comments where they mentioned particular song performances, thank you.

imo taylor is a brilliant rock and roll rhythm guitarist; the tracks they mentioned...his basic chunka chuncka is so deep it's almost religious; his rhythm playing in that band is so totally under-rated because of his own brilliance as a melodist and lead soloist...but the guy totally rocks...from the gitgo at hyde park and on to ya-ya's and exile tours.
you had to be in the same room with that stuff pumping so enormously, it shook the world; it stood people up and made them scream i swear to god...
...it shot electricity right thru keith's entire body; enormous guitar player; rhythm and lead was taylor as Rolling Stone...from basic track and conception, thru recording and brilliant live shows...all power and thanks to mickt.

yeah i'd have to go with bye bye johnnie and the chuck stuff from ya-ya's and 'bitch' just like everyone else...those stand out for me too; but there's a lot of recorded stuff in their catalog with rhythm, counter rhythms, little flourishes of 'rhythm riffing' for lack of a better term, etc...
ronnie played that deep a rhythm git with the faces and on the early rod solo albums with a similar dark but really moving, jumping authority i think...
like that 'sweet little rock and roller' performance...that deep chunka chunka roll the rock vibe...taylor does it efforlessly and with great power imo. and it affected his band, tho already deeply rooted in boogie woogie, The Rolling Stones, enormously and to great amazing benefit. The guy was ALWAYS working; not just standing there, scratchin' his butt and waiting for his lead...but boy, he could do that too!

I really enjoy his rhythm work in Montreaux 1972 sessions, especially on "Tumblin' Dice" an "Hip Shake". He has a nice, effortless touch.

Wow you don't know much about guitar playing. You should listen to more than The Stones

uh-oh. i wouldnt question Mathijs' knowledge and skill on all things guitar (which is enormous and hugely informative) i also believe he plays guitar himself...let the games commence...
