i went to a taping of his show - but it wasn't set for later that night, but rather for an upcoming week. it was the 2nd taping of the day at like, 4pm. i only had to wait about an hour in a long line. i had an extended night of jerry lewis as guest, unfortunately and no music guest!
i bet you'll get in but find the info on the website in case you need reservations. we didn't have tickets when we got in line and got into the show.
.............the line up keeps on changing unless they are taping two shows that day. Apparently, ex NY Yankees manager Joe Torre is now scheduled for Monday's show and Dave is a huge Yankees fan so Torre is going to get serious air time

I heard from the guy who got me the tickets that there are two shows being taped on Monday;
if anything interesting happens, ill be sure and post it here...
I heard at the weekend that Ronnie might not appear on the Late Show after all. It seems he might not arrive in town in time. Let's hope he does, though.
I don't think it's happening...he's nowhere on the guest lists for this week's shows. I see Slash is on Tuesday to talk about his new book also.
Looks like tonight (the show ronnie was supposed to be on) might be full. I saw a clip of the show promoting it and it looked like Jerry might be doing some standup. Plus sitting down with Dave to chat--that's at least 2 segments--MAYBE 3 (but rare). And then Joe Torre--so I don't see any space for Ronnie unless he's just sitting in with the band.

that thought crossed my mind but that would be an insult for ronnie - i don't know if he'd go for just that.
i bet if it happens at all, they tape it today and aire it on another day since they already have the lineup published for tonight.
if it's a matter of not arriving in time, that's a big oversight on his part - letterman would be great publicity. i haven't seen ron on TV in the US for a long time.
Yeah...i wouldn't like ronnie to be pushed to the side playing with the band in and out of commercials. I'd prefer if he spoke to dave. That would be very entertaining.
There's always reports/papparazzi outside the Ed Sullivan theatre where the guests enter/exit. Any word on Ronnie coming in today?
the word i got from the guy who got us in was that Ronnie cancelled; he wasn't sure why, "something to do with his publicist"
oh well; at least it was a good show. seinfeld was funny (no standup Justin, though his whole interview was his standup, with dave as the straight guy feeding him lines) he also did a skit with the announcer that was hilarious (Jerry as the straight man) the entire thing will be bleeped out if it airs tonight (maybe it will appear on you tube with the curses back in)
Joe Torre did a nice interview and even made a joke about Barry Bonds being a good hitter "even when he was a skinny kid"
the band did "gimme Shelter" during one commercial breaks; probably rehearsed for Ronnie so they did it anyway. During that song i noticed the people next to me trying top figure out which guy in the band was Ron Wood. i didnt have the heart to tell them he wasnt there.
I guess i will have to get into the POP gallery show to meet Ronnie now. anyone going?
