Thanks Rockman.

Lenny K is right about "Angie"... the song really has a tone that is extraordinary and unique. It nails me every time I heard it. Some people say that with "Out of Tears" Jagger tried to find that vocal again, but if he tried I think he really failed. That bit of Jagger rehearsing the show during the holidays is also priceless.

Of Mick Fleetwood: I always take the appraisals of their contemporaries as the biggest compliments they can get, and the list is long, starting with the names like Pete Townshend, Eric Clapton, etc. It speaks volumes that people who were there at the time and starting their own incredible careers still say it that they are their 'fans' or that the Stones are their 'favourite'. It says how huge impact they did to the whole generation of British blues rock musicians. I guess they were the true leaders, and gave the model of success and coolness. I guess Ronnie Wood was not the only british rock musician who early/mid-60's dreamed of joining the group...
