The original Album cover of the 1971 LP of the Pipes of Pan At Joujouka painted by Hamri shows Jones in the centre with The Masters Musicians.
In 1989 The Rolling Stones went to Tangier, Morocco to record with the Masters of Joujouka for the Steel Wheels album "Continental Drift".

now see... this is the kind of Movie they should remake. It was good idea but I guess everyone involved felt it didn't work out as well as it could have. Maybe if they made another run at it... It could be HUGE!!!
But no... stupid Hollywood doesn't operate like that. Hollystupid takes perfect masterpiece movies, which could not be made better ... and remakes them. Like remaking "Ben Hur"... what in the wide wide world of Sports was a goin on with that idea?
My theory is remake good ideas that didnt work well in the original movie. DO NOT remake movies like True Grit, Psycho, Robocop, Red Dawn, The Fog, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Total Recall, Rollerball, Annie, Arthur etc etc... REMAKE THE STORY OF NED KELLY!!! or make a movie about Vivian Bullwinkel

I will have to see that one.
It is odd how some movies come and go with barely a whisper of publicity and I pay attention... kind of.

But hey man it was more like Ned Meets Mad Max ... Jagger version seemed more like those times woulda been ...
Oh and by thee way Hank..The first Feature film ever made was
The Story of the Kelly Gang filmed in 1906 ....
