Saw them in Amsterdam (2nd show) but I was very dissapointed. Sound was horrible.

Stings voice was great though.

It's a good show, but nothing out of the ordinary. They sound great but there is zero passion up there.

I took some pics at Dodger Stadium that can be seen here:

Saw them at the MGM Grand Arena (good sound for a venue ~ 14,000) in June. I thought it was really rocking. But, my favorite song was some punk song from the early days- the place went wild during the song and at the end, the place just exploded when the song was done.I wanted more from the big hits from Sychronicity though. Very good show; Stewart Copeland is an amazing drumer and performer.

I did at Giants stadium last August.
Copeland was phenomenal, Summers pretty good and Sting mildly annoying but overall solid. A very good show.

Can we influence Stewart and Andy to form a new band after the tour?

saw them at Twickenham approx 3 weeks ago.
they played all the hits, you'd expect and want to hear.
No b-stage, no frills, minimal stage setting, minimal chat between songs.
impressed with Summers and Copeland..i've never cared fro Sting.
Overall an enjoyable show, but one i wouldn't necessarily repeat.
6.5/10

They play the hits solidly. Stewert Copeland shows why he is a premiere drummer. Absolutley amazing. Andy Summers had some licks, but really appears old. That's not a slam. We all age. Sting was fine. Sounded great and played the bass exactly as expected. I just wish there was a little more passion up there. I little more rock and roll and less pop. It's hard to describe. Was it a good show? Yes. Did they sound great? Yes Would I see it again? Probably not. It was just the passion that was missing. Maybe I'm crazy, but a little stage presence goes a long way. They seem to have very little up there. If you haven't seen them and you are a Police fan, you should go. I just doubt you would catch any multiple shows. It could be because when I saw them I was at the peak of my Stones high. 13 shows down and a finale at the O2. I also made the mistake of seeing McCartney once during his tour in the midst of a Stones trek with me and found it laughable. I thoroughly enjoyed him a couple years before. I guess the in the midst of my Stones World Tour the Police just sort of missed the bar. But who is going to hit the bar when all you are used to is the Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the world? It's a tall order. The Police put on a fine show and play all the hits. They just don't take it up to that notch of excitement I'm looking for. To each his own.

It´s all learnt by heart...it seems. They do the same setlist in
the same order for 6 months now. How boring it must be for them.
And that by a Sting who always wants to push things further etc.

Perfect instrumentalists, perfect song structure etc. But a lack of passion
and...fun! In Hamburg they didn´t look at each other for one hour, when
one of them (shame on him) missed a beat at the end...they were looking at
each other and...laughed! Best moment in that autopilot show!

Thank you all for your insights about the concert!!
I tell you my opinion later. Once again thank you!

They are just no Rock´n´Rollers! You will compare them to the Stones, I bet!
I can´t imagine them playing a Chuck Berry track. The only time Copeland
played a straight beat without banging more than 10 things at the same time
was during the encore Next To You, best song of the evening.

Agree fully, I also saw them at Twickenham. As Adrian says, you get all the hits, but there's no great atmosphere, no chat between songs and a pretty minimal stage setting etc etc. I'm glad I've seen them because I never did originally, but now that I have - my curiosity is satisfied and I wouldn't really bother seeing them again. Yeah, I'd go with about 6.0 or 6.5 out of 10 also.

Saw em first show in Vancouver and a couple of days later in Edmonton, quite enjoyed both ... a little sloppy in execution but seemed to be having some fun and the crowd was into it pretty good. Overall better than I'd expected.

Saw them in Hartford. Was OK, certainly not the Stones, and when the Stones is all you've seen for the last 2 years, I can easily say I was a bit let down, as was my wife, who's not even that big of a Stones fan!

Saw them, overall enjoyable.

I found the absence of a huge backing band, light show, etc. refreshing.

Copeland was absolutely amazing. The other two were adequate; not great, not poor...

As someone else pointed out though, I thought the sound was poor...but I listened to a boot of the show I attended, and I swear that audience recording sounded much better than the actual show! So I'm thinking it must've been where I was sitting (about a 45 degree angle high on the right side).

Minimal stage setting can be fine, but not in a stadium
Arena shows or theatres would probably have been great souvenirs, but the Stade de France is too big a venue for a 3piece band.

Highly polished, professional entertainment, but seeing any concert in which the newest song is 24 years old can't help but feel like visiting a museum. I agree with everyone who says there was no "passion". You're right. There wasn't any. No magic. No fire. Even during the "Next To You" finale, in which they presumably want to take us back to their "punk" roots, there is a surprising lack of energy.
