For a while, I wouldn't tell that I saw the Turtles; but they were actually pretty good-way back when.
Worst was B.J.Thomas, he forgot words to 2 or 3 songs, not too good, but that was a long time ago too.

Lionel Richie, by my self at Scandinavium in gothenburg.
Why alone? Everyone else I knew said that I was crazy to want to go see him.

They were right. This was the year 1986 I think and concert started with a self playing piano, can you belive it.
Yes I did stay to the end of the concert, don't ask me why.

I am embarrassed I haven't seen Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Great band and probably a great show too.

I saw that show in Santa Barbara, and was equally impressed.
Definitely off the wall and different, and I was captivated. I love the album as well.

On the other hand, my sister and brother-in-law saw it (LA Greek Theater?), and they hated it.
They couldn't grasp the concept of the story, or the actors onstage.
When CSNY went on sale last year for the Hollywood Bowl I offered to get them tickets, and they politely refused.
My bro-in-law said "No way man, last time I saw Neil, he sucked!"
He's a bit narrowminded I admit, but he missed out on a GREAT CSNY show!
Why he refused to see CSNY because of one bad Neil experience, I will never know.

Can't wait for the new Neil album, when's it coming out?
