Favourite part of The Biggest Bang DVD

The Austin show, whilst it has gone under the needle a fair few times being dubbed and over-dubbed (get off my cloud chorus) is still an amazing show and recording. in my eyes is the best show ive seen recorded, with only a bootleg copy of the B2B tour in argentina challenging it.
But i think the r highlight of the whole 4discs and 7hours comes from the documentary during the Milan press conferance where the journalist tells keith that he has the eyes and the smile of a child when he is talking about his career, 'I know silly isn't it.' Great moment caught there.
Whats your favourite part of the dvd, is it better than 4 flicks?

with a needle and a spoon
and another girl to take my pain away'

I also like the bit when a bemused Charlie gets asked about his business card and he points to his face saying 'THIS is my business card'

That chick that shows us the goods during the Buenos Aires performance of "Miss You" from the 4th disc is my highlight.

No seriously, I think the whole Rio show is great. The Buenos Aires footage is awesome as well.

My favourite part of The Biggest Bang DVD is "I can't be satisfied". It is the best version I have ever heard. It is perfect. Only the Stones, no additional musicians. The Stones are mainly a blues band, though they can play all types of music very well.
The 4 DVD set is wholly great.

Argentina -whole part (whole atmosphere , phenomenal audience , Keith making voodoo before hitting the stage ) . Rio - B stage ( good shots-Stones at work , not posing). The worst-Austin - boring , false , typical ....

love Austin(too much overdubbed though!ie:GOMC chorus, JJF, Satisfaction etc.) love Rio, the perfect quality saitama stuff makes me want the full perfect quality dvd of that show....shanghai stuff's good, would have replaced TPIE with the saitama version though.

Love Miss You,Paint it Black and Sat from BA, but as for worried about you,and happy, thats the low point of the entire dvd set, not worth it at all, totally unnecessary, we got WAY on the 4flicks dvd set(perfect version) and happy so many times, why not give us gems like :shes so hot, as tears go by,far away eyes etc etc

Duets are amazing, and the documentary is great, totally different from licks doc. wouldve liked to see a bit more tour preparation footage, but a very moving doc.

an almost perfect dvd set, i love it the same as four flicks, cant wait till shine a light movie!

Get Up, Stand Up - Phoenix.
Shine A Light with Bonnie Raitt.

I honestly cant remember the last time I was so blown away by anything on a Stones video/DVD release.

Even on an unofficial video, only parts of Tokyo '90 (Sympathy/Gimme Shelter) and Buenos Aires '98 (Little Queenie) come close to touching it.

Its the best thing on that new DVD by a fĂșcking mile.

i hereby strike all non- "learning the game" answers from the record.

The crowdpictures from Argentina!! Why didn't we get the whole show from Argentina instead of Austin or Rio? I have never seen such a great crowd. If they play Argentina again I'll be there myself.

Actually I think Learning The Game is good, but I've seen things that are equally good from the past few years. That's How Strong My Love Is from Olympia on FF, I Can't Turn You Loose from Munich on FF, JJF from Olympia on FF, CYHMK from MSG on FF. Also on bootleg DVDs. Like Rip This Joint from the Stripped docu and Rough Justice from Saitama. They're all up there I think. I love Learning The Game (And need I say that The Stones' version is better than the original?), but if I had to choose between all things on TBB, I'd choose She's So Cold or I Just Can't Be Satisfied over LTG. It's up in that league too though.

My criticism of Biggest bang..and given that none of the shows is complete...is that there's too much duplication of songs. Surely some of the duplicated numbers could have been left out and others included instead ?

Having said all that...I'm quite happy with the package in other respects and look forward to manny hours of enjoyment from it.

There was some critisism that the DVD was rushed. I don't think it shows if it's the case. The third disc is the only one I find mildly boring and perhaps rushed. Disc 1: ******
Disc 2: *****
Disc 3: ***1/2
Disc 4: *****

Many favorite parts. Just tonight I watched the "Midnight Rambler" segment on disc 4. Perhaps a lesson in DVD editing, but it was thrilling, especially the brief isolated audio of Mick's harp and Ronnie's guitar.
