i think the mustache has to go, and then we can tell for sure, but i really think he HAS gained weight...stomach...face...apparently hes a little slower on stage...less kicks and flailing...?

Maybe it's time to have musicians weigh in before each performance, like prize fighters. If they fall below or above the desired weight in their class, they should not be allowed to perform.

The facial weight gain makes me think it's an effect of arthritis medication if he's on a steroid. My Mom takes prednisone, a steroid, for severe arthritis and it makes your face swell like that. Go ahead, ridicule me. I have NO inside track on Keith's medical care. Just my guess.

Yup...compared to past tours...he's not as slim. He usually gains some weight between breaks and most always sheds off by the 2nd/3rd week of the tour. Doesn't look like he shook it off this time....

Eh...he's allowed to pack some pounds on....

Maybe Keith plans to cover David Lindley's "When a Guy Gets Boobs."

He's simply getting older...just like the rest of us.
Unlike a lot of ageing "stars", he doesn't appear to have a big issue with the fact either.

..and FWIW, there are also times in the past when he's carried a bit more meat.
Check out periods at the end of the 80s in the Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle / Winos era.
