My sad confession is that I do have a casette of the first Spice Girls album somewhere. I thought they were great at the time. They were a phenominum of sorts and I guess have to be given credit for that. Well, maybe their creators anyway. However, I think the shows will be terrible. Too much has happend since and Victoria Beckham (aka Posh, of course) is too much of a celeb in her own right. I think there is a danger of it becoming the 'Beckham show' and she barley sung on the records in the first place! She was always my least favourite.

Can you honestly say there is a huge market for this stuff? My daughter loved the Spice Girls when she was 5 but wouldn't dream of going now!

Take That had a more varied audience so I could see the attraction?

The group will kick off their tour in Las Angeles in December, and will go on to perform in Las Vegas, New York, London, Koln, Madrid, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sydney, Cape Town and Beunos Aires.

Gee - I was hoping for a concert at the sandhillock right outside this town...

....I actually saw them in concert back in 1998 I think. I took my 8 yr old daughter and her friend........there were absolutely no lines at the beer vendor all night........fun night....

What the hell what ? Cover the world in 11 gigs - or maybe one can't call it a "gig", more of a catwalk-performance - and the cities they will play in have probably offered an enormous sum of money for their visit. Spice Girls must be quite broke now - after all these years
