Music store - yes, but I only buy strings and such there - no guitars. There's a pretty good one in Tromsø, but surely it can't compeat to Oslo Trondheim and such. So people play guitar in Sweden too ?
I recommend buying strings via the internet. Better prices there

50's customs came with gold, on my reissue it's wearing off fairly quickly.

My pick doesn't show it, but the tailpiece is already worn and the bridge and pickups are getting there. I just can't bring myself to pay for 'aged' pickup covers.

The Julian Sas band. They\\\'re from Holland. They play throughout Europe and they\\\'re pretty big in the blues/bluesrock-scene. They\\\'re not THAT famous however. But it\\\'s a great picture because I\\\'d always wanted to meet them and this happened after a fantastic concert.

Thanks you Highness for the compliment. It is an exceptional guitar. I've seen more customs with gold than nickel hardware but they are out there (witness Keith's) but strangely enough out of all the guitars I have played I've never played a 3 pickup custom before.

Keith's and all other 50's customs originally had gold hardware, what we see in Keith's hands circa 66 - 70 is a 10+ year old guitar that's aged a bit.

Really? The hardware on some looked like nickel to me. Well, you learn something new everyday!

Thanks for the close up pick of the custom. I was going to post some thing simirlar but you beat me to it. I asked about the nickel plating over at the Les Paul forum (check it out if you haven't already!) and the resident experts there confirmed what you said (Not that I ever doubted you!) Anyway, I think I've hijacked this thread enough!
