One of the two streets in NL with that name (the other is in Lelystad). Interestingly, the inhabitants of the street in Nijmegen are free to design their own house front and change it the way they like - with mixed results:

If i remember well there was quite some protest, at least in Lelystad, against naming the street after a rock group. I bet some local alderman is behind this 'promo pic'.

Under My Thumb would be better for the B-stage transfer.
The second half is even more boring than in Werchter, I hoped they could stop playing Sympathy regulary.
The first half is interesting, but they should keep doing 10 songs before Keith's set.

Incredible good show. I'm so glad, after Amsterdam, a year ago, i was so dissapointed and now......M so happy to be a stonesfan, because tonight was freakin' wonderful. Mick doing a encore on Sweet Virginia!!or as BV calls it; a double ending. Never, ever heard that before. Ronnie; just great, sober in shape. Kieth looks sooo old and weird, but played pretty good. It's just he aged so much in the last year, incredible. And Charlie.....last show, the one in Amsterdam, he seemed to be short of breath, and was almost to fall from the drumseat! And now; in very good shape!! And last but not least; the maestro, controlfreak through and through, but boy, does he do a good job, Thanks guys!!

If i count correctly, the two setlists (Werchter - Nijmegen) have six different songs. Very good sign!

if the trade-off is Keith back on form and in good health, I think most of us will take that....

Perhaps more significant for those attending shows in countries that saw the Stones last summer (eg France, UK, Germany etc) is that they only repeated nine songs that were played in Amsterdam 11 months ago

IORR worked perfect as the transfer song to the B-stage. I never figured out Under My Thumb in that position. It simly did not work there. And Satisfaction worked excellent on the B-stage, while I though it sounded strange in Werchter. But the crowd was easier to work tonight.

Agree, just got back home to Germany - it was a great show.
But some seem to have missed Keith and Ron were not at all together on She Was Hot. There was something in the air that seemed to turn out as a solid fight onstage. Ron was giving Keith the finger...
But: Great, great night, anyway! Would have loved to see more of Van Morrison, just remember the first song was Baby Please Don´t Go, after 2 more he was washed away...

In the tour dates section,it's said that Ronnie thanked Keith for his great playing on She Was Hot after the song.

As Gazza said, so far it seems to be a LICKS set list, nothing from ABB except Rough Justice! Where's RAIN FALL DOWN, especially tonight?? I just may save myself a ton of $$ and not travel across the pond, wait to see if they return to the USA before Christmas, or maybe in Jan 2008. I feel bad that it had to rain at all, and I want to see Van Morrison so bad, THAT would have pissed me off! I'll have my hip surgery and be ready for their return.

Yes I read that Ron thanked Keith too, so it makes me wonder.

Maybe Ron was being sarcastic.

Nah, I don´t think that it was all a joke!
Specially on She Was Hot Mick was so confused about the band he couldn´t hardly come out and pose around like he uses to do.
Don´t get me wrong, it was brilliant to hear She Was Hot live the first time in Europe, but to me the hassle on stage between Mick/Ronnie, Ronnie/Keith is also very amusing to me. But, nevertheless! tonight it was no joke, for a moment Ronnie looked like he was quitting, no joke.

I don´t know exactly, but my friend I was with told me Keith was playing solo over Ronnie´s part, so he got really angry, giving Keef the "@#$%& finger"!

A few songs later, Mick gave Ronnie a kick up the arse, so for a moment it wasn´t all harmony on stage, not at all.
But it was a great night for me anyway, a little confusion is the salt in the soup on a Stones show.
And Keef @#$%& up the beginnings of "Brown Sugar" and "Happy", maybe didn´t practice enough, ha ha!

ps to Baboon Bro: this is my last post concerning the tour nobody wanted -including the band and the fans- but the Stones had to do it because it was all part of the contract with Michael Cohl.
