Hopefully it won't take long before someone posts some high quality MP3s of this AMAZING dvd.

I know I'd love to have Austin on my ipod!

Not so easy. Ive tried 3 different DVD audio ripping programs on 2 different computers and I cant get it to rip. Usually it's no problem, they must have some sort of copy protection that I havn't come across before.

I recorded it in real time to wav files on my computer that I could convert to mp3, but there are a few dropouts. It sounds pretty good, however!

Is the sound quality of the new dvd that much better than Four Flicks?
Can you actually hear Ronnie Wood on this release?

The guitars sound great, the drums are a bit muddy. I havn't heard it in 5.1 yet.

There's a program called "DVD Audio Extractor" made by [www.castudio.org] which works flawlessly. Might wanna try that.

In all honesty I just hope everyone goes out and buys the DVDs. Nothing is more irritating than reading bad reviews of the dvd when the only thing people have for their ratings is what they've seen or heard online. The upside to ripping the tracks (as with ABB special edition) is the portability.

Have you checked the computer's sound settings?

FLACVINYL: Thank You! That program worked beautifully! 3 others stalled halfway through the first track but the castudio program did the trick!

I will post the tracks in alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.m tonight!

Thanks again for the tip!

Actually it's: alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.m

Its a binary newsgroup. You need a newserver (I recommend giganews: www.giganews.com) and software (I recommend forte agent - run a search and you will find it). Its a little difficult at first but well worth it! The alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.m group is ALL Stones! There are tens of thousands of groups where you can download anything!

I'm equally as retarded about "You Send It" and programs like that. Hopefully somebody can retrieve it from the newsgroup and post it on the Hot Stuff board.

It's posting now in the newsgroup!

Thanks for the tracks!
However on easynews, your post seems to be incomplete (or maybe it's not finished yet smiling smiley ); I'm missing tracks #2, 3, 6, 9, 11, 17 on disc 1 smiling smiley

I posted them on Giganews. They look complete on my server.

J.B. Goode is posting rar files on my thread over on the Hot Stuff forum. That might be easier!

Update: They are now posted in Hot Stuff!

Hey, Drake. Sorry for the delay. We have sent the tapes to Iceland to record some sax overdubs. After he's finished we'll send them to you ASAP.

BTW, cool IORR name smiling smiley

Which 3 programs did not work?

I already used my free trial period of DVD Audio Extractor for the ABB bonus DVD and I'm trying to decide which one to use for the new DVD's.

Try this!

Analog audio out of the DVD into a Sony HI-MD minidisc recorder. Then upload the recording as a full fidelity wav file to your computer. Burn a CD from that.

There is also a software called Poderbit Sound Recorder (and editor). Quite good.
