Little T&A was rehearsed last night as well. And they don't need to rehearase Midnight Rambler. They just do it, never by the book, always on the spot. They will for sure do Rambler this summer as well.

Doc, that would be a great Keith-set indeed. Personally, You Got The Silver and both other songs would really really be a dream come true. But for me I would choose Heartbreaker over many many other songs.
Far Away Eyes could be a dream!! And You Got the Silver.. the other one!!! They will play Knocking or Midnight (extra long songs.... so, just 1 of them!)

well it depends on the performance and presecnce and committment and all that, but on paper? nothing much unexpected or exciting in context...yeh it's good to 'it's all over now' and other old warhorses creeping back in here and there...but imo, nothing terribly exciting...neither from older or newer catalog...which might e a good thing considering the butcher job on sway on their website... ...just on paper? or (digital monitor)?? ..zzzzzzzzzzz, as long as you're askin'...
oh fans who follow all this, and sometimes i do as well, will say, "yeah but they haven't played "whatever" since "whenever" and this is the first time they've done "whateverelse"...but that dosen't mean much to me except as trivia.
now if i had never seen the band before or didn't have every record and all that...this would be a mind blowing set...so i guess they were playing to my crowd of 'kids' (and contemporaries and mentors) back '69 and '72, and i can live with that...in fact about ten of those songs are still there...oddly enuff tho, i'd be more excited by more london/decca stuff that would be unexpected...and more stuff from voodoo lounge and abb...stuff that shakes it up a little... very well aware it's all in the performance song by song and still excited about the tour...but as a setlist to read and think about... hugely, hugely unimaginative...

"Can't You Hear Me Knocking" and "Midnight Rambler" could be on the same gig for sure. Why not? They both were played in 2003 on the same gigs and nobody complained.
In the same gig??? I remember than when one of them was played, the other one was out...... Maybe both was played (my memory is not so good), but I think this was an exception...
It will be the same stage. There will not be any on-stage boxes but apart from that there will be the same stage, and the same 13 great musicians on that stage, and great fans attending the show.
COMING DOWN AGAIN! You know the track? I just love it. One of my favorites. Last night they paused the rehearsals at midnight to celebrate Ronnie's birthday. They played some records. Bernard was singing. Ronnie was singing. The band was jamming. They had a great time in the rehearsals studio. Then they put on a record that is still ringing in my ears, singing in my mind, wish it would not go away, wish they could do it on stage. Keith please do it live! Coming Down Again. I just love it! In fact I love the entire Goats Head Soup, but this track is so great!
Either VB or CDA would be great songs which I'd really love to see/hear once live. However, I also hope for an european premiere of Infamy.
I have put my hopes on Keith. Please change the set during the tour, or at lease alternate or something... Mmmm 6 different Keith songs in London would be out of this world...

usually that was probably the case, but I distinctly remember both CYHMK and Midnight Rambler being played at the first of the 3 Wembley Arena shows in 2003.
i posted this 5 pages ago, they played it on maybe 5 europe 2003 concerts, didnt look at the USA shows, but i'm sure they played it there to (just watch the MSG dvd)

So keith put the album track last night! Do you, bv, or anyone else, think he did it so cuz he's really thinking about doing it live, maybe he has even known in some way how much fans want that song to be played?
