Re: Stones Bigger Bang tour live CD

Whether they issued a 1972 live set or not, the band has evolved, or changed if you prefer, enough to warrant carefully produced - maybe as vault jobs - live sets from most tours, but where say the Dead can issue dozens of live albums snapped up like the holy grail by fans (and sorry, even though they're a good band their improvisations ain't making Coltrane lose any sleep) because their vault material is curated with sensitivity by passionate non band members. The Stones boost the audience noise, edit songs, and usually try to make live albums tour souveniers - an excercise in futility. Which is why "Stripped" is the best selling of any from the past 20 years. I still think No Security's sales were hurt by the ugly cover art, not that the mushy mix helped much. The best live Stones has been thrown away - "Whip" on Sucking in the 70s, the various '95 - 98 single sides.
