There are several new CDs offering Outtakes. What´s on these bootlegs, real outtakes? Did anyone listen to the stuff already? Thanks.


2 CD THE ALTERNATE BIGGER BANG. WLR 2016. OUTTAKES + NON ALBUM TRACKS

I'd say the consist of the two bonus tracks, "we don't wanna go home" and "under the radar", as well as the alternate takes (different mix, lenght) of the rest of the ABB songs that have surfaced a while ago.

I circulated these months ago and they were much discussed here at the time. they're available for download on the Rocks Off tracker and may still be available on Hot Stuff on this site too.

Bigger Bang early mixes, with several songs being longer, unedited versions. No actual outtakes though.

as it turned out we eventually allowed them to be uploaded on the tracker even though (contrary to our normal rules) they were mp3 sourced. The reason being that this was the only format in which they existed - I'd checked with the guy who found them and he confirmed to me that (for storage purposes) he'd converted them to mp3 and that the original lossless sources had been deleted.

This CD is well worth getting. There's some cool extra things on it. Best is Biggest Mistake. But that REALLY needed an upgrade too.

UrbanSteel you can post this CD.I live in Brazil and here they are not edited the promotionals Cds (unhappily).Very thanks.

The early ABB mixes rock harder, have rougher edges and more guitar parts - all the stuff we wish we had more of from the Stones. As per usual, Mick should have quit when he was ahead, The early mixes are better in every instance whether subtly (as in most of the tracks) or obviously ("Biggest Mistake").
