You have to text 'STONES' to 2020 and they send you the code - presumably using an O2 phone though!

Hope that helps and good luck.

o2 codes: you need to be o2 customer; o2 sends you a text message to which you need to reply and they send you back a code which can be used on the o2blueroom website to book a ticket (by 7am tomorrow)

The best I was offered was block 108 and 106, lower tier, it seems quite far to me, especially for £150. As I already have two tickets for two other Stones concerts this summer, I did not buy it.

the code for this show is ZRAJPN

whilst the code is only sent to 02 customers, you do NOT need to be an 02 customer to buy tickets.

Dont expect anything better than so-so tickets, though. Free member presales are just a sneaky way of offloading the overpriced but still mediocre tickets to people who think that just because its advertised a "pre sale" they'll be getting something special.
Note : the first text I got said that the 02 presale starts at 9 am tomorrow.

It does of course start TODAY at 9 am and according to their site runs until 7 pm this evening

Yesterday the Daily Mail made a feature of the "Rich List" mentioning of course Sir Mick Jagger ..and also SIR Keith Richards. Keith would have a chuckle at that I expect [unless he's managed to keep something very quiet ;^) ]

For the third London show Adrian: Would it be hard to get tickets even if they're pretty crappy if I buy them in 2 or 3 months? As long as I'm there I'm happy.

i'm sure someone here on iorr, will have a spare for sale, between now and August, if you can't secure one through TM or seetickets.

you'll get a ticket no problem, I'm sure. As its the 3rd show, demand tends to diminish, although if theres a lot of "last show ever" that would make it harder. however, getting a spare single ticket tends to be easy enough

I noticed last week that Twickenham had the Stones seating chart.
Been there since last year? Guess so.

02 is merely this year's "American Express" presale. And we all know what happened to most of those tickets thanks to enough gullible and greedy fúckers buying them 12 at a time, offering them on e-bay as "best seats in the house" etc and getting their fingers burnt because most sensible people saw them for what they were..overpriced but very ordinary seats. The Stones and Cohl didnt care as it was mission accomplished for them - ie to sell the worst valued seats in the stadium.

At least this year, the limit for 02 presales is only 4 tickets per purchase.

On the off chance, having spent £££ on some pretty good seats for the second O2 show which I was pleased with, I decided I couldn't pass up the 3rd show as in all seriousness it MIGHT be their last for a while.

I used the fan club code that was supposedly just for the second show yesterday AM and got two "cheapo" £70 tickets. Was I lucky? is that how it should work? Am I a bad person?

no- just mad like the rest of us.

I did the same, although they were floor seats for £150. So, I managed to get four tickets for two 02 shows with the one code.

if you're looking for'cheap', £70 seats, using the O2 presale code-
keep checking the TM website

it appears, they are available again.

Do you have a link? Is it the normal ticketmaster.co.uk? O2 code doesn't work there. Need 2 70£ tickets.
Thank you

Yep, just like the first two nights: They are using this as a way of making Joe Public think he's getting an exclusive deal, but as far as I could tell O2 customers had no access to floor seats at all. Unless you know better, the assumption is the floor seats have gone, whereas they seem to be allocated mainly to fanclub members and Fan Asylum punters, probably with a bunch set aside for the general public.
It's just a game you have to learn how to play, unfortunately.

Rolling Stones at the O2 ... yeah, sounds rather exclusive to me. I think everyone should be happy to be there.

I used the same code for the three shows...

I may be naive, but I tend to think RS fan club did on purpose. Or, at least, they did not intent to stop this little unintentional "gift" to fans (a word slightly exaggerated).

>> at least, they did not intent to stop this little unintentional "gift" <<

i think it's always been the case that partially-unused codes could be re-applied
as long as TM was handling all the shows one was aiming at.

You pay someone $100 and you call it a gift ?.

>> You pay someone $100 and you call it a gift ? <<

well, the $100 is supposed to entitle you to a code you can use to get tickets for *one* show, not three -
that's not quite how it works in countries where there's more than one show handled by the same vendor,
but that's the intention. so "gift" indeed isn't quite the right word - more like "whee we got away with it!"
which has its pleasures, certainly - better than a slap in the belly with a dead fish, anyway :E

Lol @ the "a slap in the belly with a dead fish"

I just had sea bass for dinner so more in my belly than on it ,but yes I get your drift.

I just could not bring myself to give that so called fan club one penny/cent of my money.

Or to be more cynical: the cost to develop and implement a dedicated "one show-only" solution would have top the income's loss due to that little cheatings.

Public sale for 3rd O2 just started........no floor seats available....
