Just for information, the first row in blocks 105 to 108 is not the row A but the row BB. (7 rows under row A (last one HH))

Old venue actually previously called Millenium Dome. Built for the millenium I think. Supposed to be a great venue but went into a big money loss machine. Now it is just rebuilt for concerts etc and branded with the telecom sponsor name O2, with many great names booked this summer. Including the Stones. It is a dome so I suppose we will get dome music. Let's cross our fingers and hope they did some work on it, also for the acoustics.

does anyone know how the system with SEETICKETS works? I had a problem ordering online so had to phone them to buy them, and the lady said that i had the tickets, but she could not tell me where they were as yet, as they don't know the allocations themselves! do they get given a batch set aside by TicketMaster?

The allocations are now sorted, if you go to the website you can clearly pick which section you would like and for what cost;

If you've got a booking reference number to hand, type it along with your email address into the ticket tracking search and it should tell you your row and seat, hope you did well!

Thanks for that tip! Just been and checked, and the 2 tickets i got are in block 403, and the other 4 of us, are in block 404, so that is not too bad! If only they had let me by 6 tickets at one time, we would not have had to have been seperated! I got a bit worried when I read on both the TIcket master and see ticket websites, that if i order a second time, i may have all my tickets refused, and blokced from further purchases, so as i thought time was running out and I wanted 6 tickets, i bought 4 from TM and 2 from ST

ALthough it would have been nice to have a floor ticket, I had a (much cheaper!) gold circle ticket at ORPORTO last year, and I have also bought a gold circle ticket (off EBAY) for Slaine castle, so i can't be greedy really!

So looking forward to this one. Was worried I wasn't going to make a show on this leg. Luckily I scored a sweet seat this morning. Now I gotta find a cheap flight. Let's hope the concert ticket karma carries over to the plane ticket karma.

it was never a rock concert venue.

Re: 3rd London show - confirmed

I went there a couple of times when it was open as the Millenium Dome and it consisted of various attractions and exhibits with a performance area in the centre. As far as I understand it, the new set up has a self-contained arena inside the Dome, with shops, bars and restaurants around the arena but still inside the Dome itself.

I will report back more after I have been to the, ahem, Justin Timberlake show! (it's work, I didn't buy the ticket, honestly)

Well that's YOUR version. Hmmm, not sure about this. Paris, Lyon and Barcelona with a "possible" Justin Timberlake admirer ? This puts me in a huge quandry, you do realise this ! And what Beast and BRQ are gonna have ta say about it, I can't imagine ?

any truth to the rumour, that you'll be attending the IORR o2 pre-show
meet-ups in a Justin Trousersnake, t-shirt???

Would that be the rumour you've just started.......!

I am sure you have seen the Toronto Rocks DVD when JT is duetting with Mick and plastic bottles are chucked on to the stage and things get to the point when Keith stops playing and gestures to the crowd to thump anyone they see throwing stuff.....a classic quote from Keith in the interview afterwards along the lines of "I see objects being chucked on the stage and I don't want Mick or Ronnie or myself to get hit.....if it's a good shot and they hit Justin, that's OK, he's not in my band!"

Thats ok, then - when you turn up in August, you'll be greeted with a hail of bottles (filled with piss of course) by all of us.

Just to enter into the spirit of the occasion, of course - nothing personal.

You are right MOWAT, it was never a music venue, it was supposed to be like some sort of interactive museum, with different sections divided up for different subjects, like nature, human beings, that sort of thing. There were never any concerts there.

Now, as you say, there are many bars, restaurants, a nightclub, a theatre (the indigo theatre / room and the O2 arena itself. So the millenium dome is now an entertainment complex, the largest part being the O2 arena.

BV was saying that we will get 'dome music', but the dome itself is so big that the main O2 arena in enclosed and fits inside the dome, so there will be no sound issues that are anything to do with 'domes'.

Right, the arena has it own roof under the Dome's roof :

Wasn't the arena designed with concert acoustics in mind?
The O2 is touting itself as Europe's premiere concert venue.

it may well be deemed, at this point in time, as best for
onsite facilities,
but acoustics?
the general public, at large, are yet to find out.
