how is:
BK C2 Row B

Re: 3rd London show - confirmed

Well, I used my platinum O2 code (for the 21st show) when it was
still the legacy presale time. They offered only C1 / C2 / C3.

I was thinking about purchasing the Hot Tickets again, to be close
at the very last show (ever).

But I am A1 on the 23rd and just bought Block 101, Row Q, seats 24-26.
Very close to the stage, never saw the Stones from that position. I can
see everything and hear everything. A good seat to say farewell to my band.

P.S.: Salar and Thomas: pack your bags!

I mean: is ROW A front row of a block?

TM UK says row A is the front row of every block except 106 and 107.
in those blocks BB - HH precede row A.

Oh boy. I sure had to jump through the hoops to get these tickets.

Despite leaving home early, British Snail managed their usual trick, and my train turned up 25 minutes late. I just managed to get to Kings X in time to get the train I usually take. The one that got me to work 10 minutes late last Friday. Thankfully no delays on that leg of the journey, and I got to the station at 08:49. Mad dash to the office...boot up PC...why's it taking so long? OK, login to Stones site...check membership terms (Rational thinking starting to fall away by now). Eh? This isn't my legacy account, what's up? Aha, I've logged into the wrong account! (I have two). Doh! Log into the correct account, now it's 9:01, already lost a minute....OK, got my code, go to Ticketmaster....put in code...eh? Code has expired?? WTF??

At this point my meticulous planning all starts to fall apart. I go back and double-check the code...yes, that's OK. Hmm, there's a link under the code, maybe I went to the wrong place on TM. Try the link. Same again. Now what? I start to consider calling Ticketmaster (never very useful in my experience). Out of sheer pig-headedness, I try one more time....and...I'm IN! OK...OK...OK, so it's just another TM balls-up. That means everybody else will have been affected...so I'm still in with a chance!

Turn off brain, switch to Standard Operating Procedure. Bring up 3 browser windows, whack the code into each, see what I get, make a split-second decision. Hmm, row P in A3, not so great, another one I can't even remember, but probably even further back...but the third window gives me a nice little set in A1. Go for it...hit the button and....Bingo! Got them. Phew!
About an hour after this, the network went down in our office, and the Internet was unavailable for the rest of the day! Another reminder of the tightrope I was walking this morning.

This tale has a happy ending, people. I nabbed 3 seats in Row G on Ronnie's side. I doubt if I could have done much better, considering the ones that go to Fan Asylum. They kind of complete the set too, as I have exactly the same row in A3 for the first night, and row 2 in C2 on Aug 23rd.

All's well that ends well, although I don't think this did my blood pressure any favours!

Wow, that was thrilling, exhilirating, like and adventure story. Great piece of work! You lucky bastard.

But you just taught me a new lesson for the dense one here -- open multiple windows simultaneously, a perfect example of multi tasking, but one which requires quick hands and a quicker brain, far too much for me.

A great read!! as they say

who woke him up??!! you might ask

After being up all night, I decided to not go in to work today, spent all weekend making Europe/Israel and Stones plans, all this is exhausting. And part of it is like being on drugs.

Plus taking shit from Helter Skelter.

i`ve still my legacy code for the 3rd show unused, but should i burn him for sec.421 or best sec.103 ? i got only A3 row P at best, but i refused. so much money, so far back.

i think such seats i`ll get in the public sale anyway, without costs for membership.

is rs.com able to reset my code, or must i cancel my membership?

thanks for help and infos,

robert from austria

Hi, I paid the same money just to be in block C2

Re: 3rd London show - confirmed: A1 Tickets for sale now for 250£
Posted by: peterpan4656 ()

Although I tried to buy tickts for the O2 show on 26th August with my platinum membership yesterday the Ticketsmaster system finally failed until there were no more good floor seats available.

A few minutes ago I tried the "Special Packages" section and was able to buy a ticket A1 Row M with a seat close to the catwalk for 250£. The same "Special Packages" section is still offering more of the same tickets at the same price. I know for most of us 250£ is a crazy amount of money to pay for just one concert ticket but when looking at the prices which are beeing asked for seats I consider less good, most probably this is one of the least bad deals we can get if we want to be at the O2 show on the 26th August and have good seats for that evening.

Good luck to you if you want to get a ticket in A1 for the O2 show on 26th August in London, too.

You are all mad! These shows will be overmanaged, (by people who want to be traffic wardens wearing dayglow vests), oversusbscribed, (by corporate hangers on), and over here, in rip off brittain!

Far better off on mainland europe with more lax security and easy going attitudes.

Bitter taste from Wembley 03, "sit down! sit down! sir, if you don,t sit down we will have to ask you to leave!"

Sit down? during CYHMK? Get outta here

I just tried to get tickets with the o2 promotion code; the best I could get is block BK. Lesson: the o2 promotion is useless.

>> block BK <<

but ... "BK" means "block". they're all called "BK something" -
BK A1 is block A1, BK 112 is block 112. and so on.
