(it's Bernard, not "Bernhard" - you can correct that in your thread title
by clicking the "edit" button under your first post - thanks!)
(and i'd sure go if there were a gig anywhere near me!)

Absolutely worth going!

I saw them yesterday in Budapest, and they were great! They are nice guys, and they deliver a very good show. Doug Wimbish is a killer player! Bernard sings and performs fantastic. I like his voice and he does a great job as a frontman. He dances, jumps all around and often communicate with the audience. They seem to love what they do!
Very strong rhythym section - what else can be with Keith LeBlanc on drums and Doug Wimbish on bass!
Skip McDonald - he looks like an old blues guitarist (which he is), and he plays beautiful harmonies, very progressive. They performed one of his solo songs, and that was really one of the most beautiful riffs I have ever heard.

After the show you can chat with them, get stuff signed, take pix...

Yeah, I agree with FARAWAY EYES. Definitely worth seeing and they are all nice guys.
Doug Wimbish actually played the Paint It Black riff during the concert - with this tongue.

Not quite knowing the logistics of Germany... there's also another couple of Stones' related shows in Germany this weekend. The Tim Ries Rolling Stones Project is playing March 16-17 according to his website. We've seen them twice and they are just wonderful. It includes Tim Ries (sax), Michael Davis (trombone) and Bernard Fowler on a few vocals. In Chicago, Darryl Jones usually joins them, but I don't recall seeing him listed in other areas. Here's the post:

March 16-17, 2007
Quasimodo
Berlin, Germany

March 17, 2007
Burghausen Jazz Festival Burghausen, Germany

If anyone goes to these shows, make sure to tell Michael 'hello' from his Chicago chaffeur!!

smile.

Did he say "We're small but we are mighty" again?
That seems to be the 2nd title of his tour winking smiley
But 150 is nice, both Budapest and Vienna had around 80 people in the audience I guess.
He told me in Budapest that the tour would start in May (but probably that means it starts with the rehearsals then). He has no idea about the tour schedule as we talked a bit about our plans to go to Zagreb, etc. - "you guys know more than I do". He didn't seem very happy about that, in fact...

If you scroll down this page you'll be validated. On the picture of Bern(h)ard he is taken in front of his own poster and you can just make out the "h" ..so Bernhard it is.

Maybe it's a pun on the "Bad Dog" thing?? ("Bernhard Dog" is - I believe - a dog?)

i dont understand those attendance figueres 80 an 150 etc. :
that is considered small here in iceland with a population of 300 tho inhabitants ;

but you are nations of millions ?

The thing is that he's simply unknown here.
He also didn't exactly play the nicest venues, to put it that way...
