Excactly. Didn't somebody post: "America, that's where the money is"?

Perhaps it is also designed for the US taste?

Buy more T-shirts!

I'll pass on this one though...

Yeah Gazza just a little toying around hear. since this whole tour mania lately. But that would be weird,if it is on my one year anniversary here,It's been a few strange years to say the least with this band. Gazza are you going to the first part of the tour in the south? I'm all over those until Paris or Lyon hopefully.

maybe he knows that there won't be any press conference but just a simple press release... this could be the hint he wanted to give us - but only speculating ;-)

I dont think so. I'm waiting to see what UK dates are confirmed and if there will be any indoor shows anywhere. Depends also where I can fly to directly and for how much. The delay in announcing these dates isnt making things any easier on that front from a financial perspective.

Flying to places like Spain from the UK at short notice in the middle of holiday season isnt really worth it. Had these shows been announced in December like they usually are, I'd have been going to a few more, without any doubt.

However, if theres a theatre show ANYWHERE and I can snag a ticket for it, then all bets are off

Gazza, you always offer such a sane perspective. Thanks!

It really helps in my planning re another expensive summer.

Travel in Europe in the summer is cheap. Budget airliners and trains take you any place any time for 100 or so dollars/euro. Just fly into a hub and take it from there. Central Europe is small. Belgrade and Lisbon and Gothenburg slikhtly more remote of course, but not like going to Buenos Aires or Tokyo...

Ok, I understand, it's cheap compared to flying to Tokyo. Flyghts to Barcelona have now doubled in price compared to a month ago.

Yes bv, i flew into france last year before Milan and took train's from,Montpanasse on through the first half of the tour. It was very reasonable by train.Plus buetiful.

You don't know when you need to go to Barcelona yet. Also, even from the remote spot of Oslo, a small city close to the Arctic, we have 3-4 airliners going daily to Barcelona. I would not worry at all. Worst case go to the south of France or Geneva Switzerland or Madrid then take the train or car or a budget flight to Barcelona. It can be done. I do it all the time. Take a look at the map. Europe is small. Relative. Be creative. If you really want to be there then travel is usually no more expensive than staying.

Barcelona is easy to reach by train from Narbonne or Nice,
not to mention Paris. French train are often v-e-r-y fast.

What are you talking about, They take 3 day's off. In between Koln and Paris was a week, if you can't see sites in cities in between then you have a serious drinking or drug habbit?

Have they had this rumored press conference

It would appear as if it's been delayed, supposedly till 22nd March according to what I've read in various threads on IORR.

So Frank, I guess you will be around quite a while during the summer. Hopefully we'll meet again. I doubt I can see that many shows this year because I owe my family a vacation and besides I won't be able to get time off before the middle of July. So that will limit my Stones summer quite a bit. Hopefully I will be in Paris in June. See you there. You know where to find me, right?

Mick's not feeling very 'press conferencey' today. He'd rather buy shoes today, I think.
