Halifax Sept, 23/06 It rained all thru the show. It was a cold, wet & missrable night. But the Stones were in the rain too & play a great show. We, all 50,000 of us were troopers. Including the band.
Foxboro, Ma, Gillette Stadium, September 20, 2006; a starry night, I finally heard SWAY!!!!!!!!!! Plus Monkey Man, plus they OPENED with Paint It Black! Amazing selection of songs all night! They were on fire, the best stadium show ever by the Stones! They absolutely nailed Streets Of Love, although many of you don't care for that ballad, believe me Mick SOLD IT big time! Then Keith's 2 song set, LITTLE T&A( I sang it for a month!) and You Got THe Silver! We never caught our collective breathe that night! It went from one incredible high to another. Wish I could go back and live those 2 hours all over.
Beacon II - Far and away the greatest concert experience of my entire life. When Shine a Light is released, I predict that you wont see much footage from the first Beacon show. All the cronies made it a much more sedate show, although it rocked for us fans. The second (and last) night was an entirely different band. I have NEVER been to a show when everyone sang along on every song. Surprised the hell outta me that so many people were hardcore fans!! "oooo the sheets feel cold n lonely!" Apparently I wasn't the only one flipping out over the rare trax. You Got The Silver... oh man. People were laughing in extacy and tearing up at how beautiful it was. If I ever get to see them again I seriously doubt they can ever top the performance given that night.

Hey Drake, I'm really pleased you got into this show! I know you're one of the 'younger' fans on this board, like me. So it's f*ckin' great that you have seen them in a small venue. I have been lucky, living in London... WELL DONE MAN!
