I was 18 in 1978, too. But: I have an eleven years older sister and an eight years older brother. They were Stones fans from Little Red Rooster onwards but by 1974 they were out of the house and I had to continue (buying IORR) on my own.
"Educated" with the Jones-Stoneses and the classical period I wasn't particular fond of Disco, Reggae (well, that changed) and Punk on BAB, SG and ER. I like TY - one might argue if it belongs to the classical period like SF...
A friend of mine is a well known hip-hop musician in Germany. He doesn't care much about what the Stones do or did but he loves Black And Blue!
JK mentions "the latest studio album" among his favourite 5 - I understand that as EVERY latest. That's perfect. This time you have to add ABB, a few years ago it was BTB and so on.
