Police Reunion

What are these voice inside my head telling me that Sting will not be part of The Police reunion and Van Halen's Michael Anthony is dying his hair blonde.

Dye his hair, shave him, give him a bath, gift card to Barneys of New York and Michael Anthony will be ready to be the Chief of Police.

The Police reunion, including Sting of course, is all but confirmed. Look for them to open the Grammy Awards on February 11th and the tour to be announced shortly after. Rehearsals will take place in Vancouver. The tour should start in May and have as many as 80 dates.

money talks even when you hate each other, steel wheels ring a bell

Not sure I go with the analogy--they had mended the fences by Steel Wheels and certainly left a lot of money on the table by not touring after Undercover or Dirty Work.

Will be interesting to see if Stewart Copeland and Sting last longer than Eddie and Roth. My guess says yes.

Also wonder which tour will bring in more $$$

Yeah I think The Police tour will last longer.

Thought the Police later stuff was good, early stuff poppy and okay. Prefer Stings solo, interesting if they record again as it was basically Sting doing all the songwriting.

yes they had mended the fences by steel wheels recording sessions but the deal was dangled in front of them many months before, hence the reunion

The Vancouver Province newspaper had a picture of the Police on the front page a couple days ago. It says that they're rehearsing at a studio in North Vancouver right now.

They are 3 world class musicians---this could certainly be a tour well worth checking out........

Just heard on Boston television and radio stations , The Police to hold 2 shows @ Fenway Park . Dates are either June or July 28 , 29 2007 .

This has not been verified by The Boston Red Sox however

<Thought the Police later stuff was good, early stuff poppy and okay.>

IMO, the other way around.

I seen them and they bored me to tears as any 3 piece band does...drummer obvioully stuck behind the drums...Sting stuck behind the mic...leaving the audience to watch Andy Summers do absolutely nothing.

I'll save my money...and if you go for musical perfection...you might as well save your money and listen to the records.

Oh stop it, I'm getting a permanent Boner....80 dates? That's 81 too many in this boy's opinion.....

FOOD FOR THOUGHT - Sting, go back to TUSCANY and live out your golden years drinking wine and making home made olive oil....PLEASE !!!

Many band sightings in Vancouver over the past week. Papers today said that they'll probably start their tour here in April.
