I just saw in a San Francisco newspaper where Ian Hunter and The Zombies are touring together. That would be an interesting show. I love Ian Hunter. Anybody seen him recently?

Cool Lukester. I know they are a classic old rock band. My interest is mainly in Hunter. Thought it sounded like a heck of a double bill. Plus it's at the Fillmore,which means if I go,there's a good chance I'll get a free postre out of it. Got a pretty good collection of posters from there.

He's now looks 3/4 dead, but still a great show.

I'll be seeing the Ian Hunter/Zombies show at the Henry Fonda in Hollywood on March 16. Tickets are a little pricey for a theater show, so to avoid paying Ticketmaster services fees, I'll buy my ticket at the box office on the day of the show. I've seen both bands in recent years, and I'm especially looking forward to seeing Ian Hunter again. He did a free show at Amoeba the last time he came through town.

Before then, I will be seeing Gomez at the Wiltern in Los Angeles (Feb. 21, I believe), and also Autumn Defense at a club called Spaceland On Feb. 16. Autumn Defense is a band led by John Stirrat, the bass plater from Wilco.

May sneak in a Rickie Lee Jones performance at the Henry Fonda, too. Forget the date.

It WAS going to be Dylan in April at Wembley (as said earlier in this thread) but this afternoon I picked up a pair of Van Morrison tickets for wednesday evening's Belfast show which were released today on Ticketmaster.

Dylan was originally the next show I was going to. Its now the next show but one.

No comparison between the two for me.

I live in Belfast, so going to see Van here is hardly stretching the budget.
