Hairball,I caught Steve Winwood a couple of years ago at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Great show. he played keyboards most of the show. But when he did Dear Mr. Fantasy he put on the electric guitar and played great. Killer show........Oh yeah and enjoy that other little band you are going to Europe for.

Yes sweetcharmedlife, you summed it up great. My wife and I saw him a year or so ago at the Wilshire Theater in LA, and it was a life changing experience for her. I also see him a few years ago at the Paradiso in Amsterdam . It's an old church converted to a concert venue, and Steve was preaching the vibes. That was the first time I saw or heard his guitar player...he blows me away. Anyone know his name? He's originally from Brazil, and plays like Hendrix, SRV, etc. I think his first name is Jose. The guys amazing, he can be heard on the last Winwood album "About Time"


Also, there was just announcement for Buddy Guy to be coming through town here in Ventura, but now the advertisement says "new date to be announced". Have seen him several times, and will always pay to see him again. It could be "the next concert I have tickets for". I'll keep you posted.

Please do Lukester. The San Francisco show was just recently announced,at a small theatre. The Warfield. My favorite place to see a show. If you don't mind steppin over the bums on the way in.lol...But I haven't seen him in probably 25 years or so. I'm very curious as to what he's gonna play...Have fun man.

You bet charmer.......I've never seen Elvis but always wanted to. Now he's coming to my back yard and I've got no excuse. I think he's only scheduled to play 50 minutes. He's one of dozens of musicians who will be performing. It seems strange that he'll be performing at an Americana folk festival, but then again, he is a genre bender. I'll email you with his setlist, if I don't get too drunk (on second thought....I'll email you with the names of two or three songs I remember)
