My wife & I were at the Rod Stewart concert at Daily's Amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida last week and it was a tremendous show. Rod sounded great and the band was hitting on all cylinders. I would definitely recommend catching him on this "One Last Time" tour if you get the chance. I would like to see The War On Drugs in May in Gulf Shores, Alabama for our next concert trip.

This got me looking up his setlists, and I like the one you got in Jacksonville. "Stay With Me" and "Ooh-La-La" both... the more Faces songs the better IMO. I've seen him only once in my life and that was 51 1/2 years ago now, Rod as part of Faces, Fall 1973 U.S. tour.

Is "One Last Time" just catfishing us, just a name to help sell tickets, or has he announced retirement plans?

[Edit: I find no indication Sir Rodney has announced any such thing. So, the tour title is probably just hype.]

Whichever it is, with the possibility of a more interesting setlist than the American Standards era Rod sang, what the heck, I bit. Seeing him July 8 in Raleigh.
