I checked out a few recent vids a couple of month ago, and felt bad for Debbie from what I saw. Hoping I was just looking at an off night.

The band was tight. Debbie radiated grace and is still one bad woman! She sang her ass off on Union City Blue. She knows her limits and knows where to pick her spots. It was a fun night. They covered Ring of Fire being at the Grand Ole Opry House. She’s not as dynamic vocally, but her voice is iconic and still pretty solid. I was happy. Definitely nothing close to the debacle that is Bon Jovi currently.

Jon Bon Jovi called me once wanting me to mess with the Billboard sales numbers I reported. I blew him off haha. I didn't play games with that data as I had scruples. Turned down a lot of free stuff in the bad old days of the music biz but kept my integrity.

That's a pretty good line-up. Mudhoney are always fun. Mark Arm lives in the same part of Seattle that I live in. He wisely bought a house with the money he got from signing with Warner Bros. It was a wise investment.

DeWolff, Valkenburg (Netherlands). Check them out, really cool Dutch bluesrock band from the region I come from.

Till Lindemann in November in Prague. It was postponed a few times, hopefully, it will work out this time. (But I already saw Rammstein twice this year, so I think I'll survive another postponement if necessary.

I'll be seeing MMJ the following night in Huntsville at the new Orion Amphitheatre. You've got some great shows coming up!

My next show is Harry Styles at Madison Square Garden September 14th.

I saw MMJ in October in a theater & they were amazing. Played almost 3 hours. They came back last week but it was at a summer venue. Lots of drinking & group hugs. GA was over $100 so I passed on it this time.

The review looks awesome! I'm a huge You Am I fan & like Tex Perkins plenty, too. I saw Tim & Tex do an acoustic duo show once & that was great. I've seen YAI as much as possible in Seattle. Also saw them once in Melbourne at Big Day Out.

PS: You Am I are 1 of my favorite bands ever! I describe them to people as the Aussie Replacements. High praise!

I've seen NIN a lot & they are always fantastic. Out of hundreds of concerts I've seen I think the best one ever was the Bowie "Outside" tour with NIN opening. Actually it was 1 long set. NIN played & then were gradually replaced by Bowie's band. David & Trent did some duets. Also, Bowie sang "Hurt" & Trent sang "Scary Monsters". It was a totally amazing show.
