It would be cool if we could have something like this. I have no idea where I got this photo though, I think it's a painting someone did of a photograph.

I think it's a JJ Walker piece.

Naw man, that looks like Keith died or something, like he's jamming in heaven.... Hey, don't let CC see the Strangest Concert thread, OK? Hey what's your name? who's that?

Don't worry MB, I won't go to that thread. While I'm at work, I limit myself to following 3 threads.

I tip my hat to these:

>> how do you make a Keith silhouette recognizable? <<

easy - Keith's got miles of hugely characteristic kicks, leans, crouches and wingspreads -
but we need to start with images that someone here owns the rights to and is willing to let us use.
and unless we have either all of 'em on the front, or none of 'em on the front,
a lot of people are going to reject it.

This might be a bit boring but here goes...

I haven't seen anyone send in any of their photos. I have some of the band from this last tour, but nothing great of the whole band. I do have a sort of neat one of Mick in the doorway at the Beacon during Sympathy. It's sort of a silhouette. Think this would work? Someone could maybe do some photoshopping to fix it up. Anyway, we can probably do better, but you're welcome to them.

Or heres one of Keith in silhouette from the Beacon back in 88

Concerning the Keith silhouette...
maybe that picture by Mankowitz from 82,
with yellow background....you know that cigarette shot

Couldn't one of you (I exclude myself because I can't draw) just draw a silhouette with the four cats? It doesn't have to come from an actual photo... right? Mick with a mic, preening / Keith and Ronnie in a crouch with their guitars (and cigs) and Charlie in the back behind a drum kit?

ony stones - I like your shirt - have to put the "org" in 'tho! And maybe "established 1980" on the back as well (making it clear it's IORR not the Stones who were established then - ha!)

Jesus Christ. I didn't even know there was something like this during Sympathy For The Devil at The Beacon. Incredible photo. Now I'm even more psyched to see the documentary. A thousand thanks for this pic (Do you have it larger perhaps)?

Back on topic: I thought the "IORR Withstand" idea I did was quite cool. The thing is that we can't use the original withstand. We can, however, use the original as a template. It's so easy to make by yourself. I'll try to make it (From scratch) and then plug on Ablett's logo.

You are right! Look at page 18 for my two comments.

Saw them. I'm thinking about a new text in place for the original "Slander*Divorce*Under-Age Sex" text. "Altamont" and "Swimmingpools" and the like would be deemed offensive and then it wouldn't be chosen. Do you have some other non-offensive words that could be used? I'm making it as we speak and I need suggestions.

It should have a simple silhouette image like the one above by sjs12. Then it should say "The Rolling Stones Fan Club" above and "It's Only Rockn Roll" below. Or the other way around. But the image must be in the middle. May be not this very image, but a clear one showing everyone who these four guys are. Then if it possible some place, may be below, some of the wordings: "www.IORR.org" and "On Tour 2007". They current year is important. Like 1984. Any magazine, newspaper, t-shirt, anything current should have the stamp on it saying from when it is. This is 2007. And they will be on tour. For sure.
