here's an idea: to save frank the satisfaction of all this attention, let's change the subject!

does anybody else hope they dust off Almost Hear You Sigh for the next leg of the tour?

you can't catch me!

Perhaps they should do "Had It With You" in honour of Frank.

I really like Almost hear you sigh. They say its the "cousin of beast of burden" (my favorite). My first reaction to AMHYS though was that I thought it sounded like a slowed down version of Hang Fire.

Gee, this is getting more pathetic by the minute!!
Thing is, it's a Stones board not a shrink practice. If you need to heal your recognition-starved ego, you're in the wrong place, simple as that.

Boy oh boy aren't we serious. I've been contributing to this forum for the last four months or so- can't remember many memorable posts from you.

Has nothing to do with recognition moron. I posted a goodbye thread and came back to thank the many people that had nice things to say about me. If I wanted attention I would have just stayed and written a ridiculous off topic thread.

Lighten up. Me or Bv will decide when I leave- not you.

Hey Frank

Check out the thread I started a couple of months ago .Its title

"Do you know how lucky we are ? "

I was in the foodservice industry , and I was very good at my job , I was a chef nothing real fancy just good quality meals . I 've noticed over the years that no matter what you do for some people they'll always bitch . It's their nature . Compliments are few and far between in any forum , whether it be music or whatever . Chin up boy .

Perhaps Leonard is right. Maybe we shouldn't be so hard on Frank. Isn't this the time of year that stresses people out the most? You know, the shorter daylight hours, holiday stress, etc.? Perhaps a group hug would be in order.

FrankM says that he's upset his thread is longer than the negative one, but hasn't the negative one been around for much longer? So wouldn't that be a likely cause for it to be longer? Just a thought.
Stick around Frank, give us another chance!

Don't Cry Out Loud Lyrics By Manchester Melissa
Printable version of Don't Cry Out Loud Lyrics By Manchester Melissa
Baby cried the day the circus came to town
Cause she didn't wan't parades just passing by her
So she painted on a smile and took up with some clown
While she danced without a net upon the wire
I know a lot about her, cause you'll see
Baby is an awful lot like me
CHORUS
Don't cry out loud
Just keep it inside
Learn how to hide your feelings
Fly high and proud
And if you should fall
Remember you almost had it all
Baby saw that when they pulled the big top down
They left behind her dreams among the litter
And the different kind of love she thought she'd found
There was nothing left but sawdust and some glitter
But baby can't be broken cause you see
She had the finest teacher, that was me
I told her
CHORUS
REPEAT CHORUS

Love that song J.J.. When I was a kid I would sneak into my sister's room and listen to her 45 of that song.

Frank, I've been on this board since 99 (started under login Rank Outsider, untill the board changed) and I do understand your feelings. There have been some good periods in the last couple of years, but in general the board has become negative and boring.

People feel free to post anything at anytime. To be honest, it's all chaos.
I just look up the news section a few times a week and that's it. Keep checking up with the board and maybe you'll rejoin somewhere in the near future.
