They cut Brown Sugar (which was on the plexi as the first encore song), probably because of Mick's throat, so hopefully, you guys will get a longer show.

The curfew is 11:30, so they may hit stage any time a couple of hours before that, but the Stones office time schedule papers say 9:15 so that is when they will be ready, if they feel like going on stage on "time". They will probably wait until 9:35 or so, but would advice people to be inside a few minutes before that. Would not miss them hitting the stage or what?

It's only rumors I have heard, nothing concrete at all, but I heard about it from 2 different sources, both connected to the entertainemnt industry here in L.A. I first was told by a guy I know about 3 1/2 weeks ago that he had heard rumors of a theater show, most likely at the Wiltern. Then last week, a friend of mine who is a photographer told me that a photogrpaher that he knows was being sent to NYC to take photos of the Beacon show for an entertainment trade publication. This guy also told him he had heard of rumors of a theater show here as well.

On the original schedule, they had the 16th and 20th as off days that could potentially be used. The Wiltern is booked on the 16th for a John Legend concert. That left the 20th, which is a date that is still open on the new revised schedule that has 5 days between Atlantic City and the Dodger Stadium show. Dodger Stadium is not being used for anything this month, so they could have just as easily made that show on the 19th or 20th instead of the 22nd or Vancouver could have possibly taken that date on the 20th if they wanted to do Dodger Stadium on the 22nd. As it is, they have left that date wide open, even though it would have been more convenient for Dodger Stadium ticket holders to have that show rescheduled for the 19th or 20th instead of the 22nd.

It's only speculation but it is based on being told from 2 entirely different sources of rumors of a Wiltern or simialr theater show for L.A.

The band is in the house!

Charlie arrived first, no big hazzle, not even shaded windows in the car. One minute later Keith, police escore.

Then Ronnie a few mintes later, and finally Mick, in his very special Mercedes. Everybody smiling, taking their time to say hello to fans. They are in the house indeed.

Bv, did you find a free WiFi hotspot there or how the hell do you manage to post all the updates so quickly? Hope you will all get a great show and some new songs!

I am on top of them literally. If you know the place you will understand what I mean. And the wifi is certainly not free. Doors open in less than two hours, and the Stones are on in around 4 hours from now. Historic day, largest production ever for sure. Shine a light!

Oh for the love of all creatures great and small ohno, why do you always have to reduce an otherwise intellectual discussion to some sexual innuendo......that's really low. Real low.

He may be staying in the Hotel Beacon, if I know the place.

I was trying to picture Bjornulf being "literally on top of them" and wasn't conjuring up any decent images.

Thanks for the explanation, camper88.

Yeah, somehow it seemed logical to me to find a free WiFi hotspot, as I'm a student with rather limited financial resources. But then again, as you can afford to see most shows of the US Leg, shelling out a few bucks for Internet is perhaps not really an issue.... Thanks for keeping us updated. That's really quite interesting! With all the controversy about the cancelation and postponed concerts - I seriously understand the frustration about it, I experienced the same in Europe this time - but this movie really could have a fantastic outcome smiling smiley

I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but 9 short blocks down from the Beacon along Amsterdam Ave - 5 minutes or so walk - you get to a place called Juilliard School of Music at the Lincoln Center. That is actually where this tour started, through the press conference Tuesday May 10, 2005.

Friends -

Please have fun at Beacon. Despite all the hysteria and craziness that has been swirling around lately, just set that aside (permanently, hopefully) and enjoy the music. I'd leave my cellphone number for someone to call just so I can hear a taste of what will be going on, but that wouldn't be right.

So have fun, dance, jump, scream, and live it up. It's only rock 'n' roll, but we all love it!

Have fun!!!

Reminds me of the old joke,

Young Man with a visitor's map: Excuse me mister, How do you get to Carnegie Hall?

Old Man: Practice, practice, and more practice.

Reminds me of another old joke ... a health nut, a burnout, an alcoholic and a jazz lover walk into a theater ... oh, never mind.

actually Cindy, just enjoy the show.

Ok, someone out there must have the technical know how to set up a conference call ... somebody at the show makes one call, then anyone who wants to calls a number and is conferenced in. On the other hand, it sounds like a lot of work. I am officially at the "can't go to the show and am grasping for straws" point.

Cindy, perhaps you can try me during the first half of the show, please?
I can't guarantee that I'm awake, though.
