Wrong- Mick played 11 of the 14 songs. He didn't play Hang on to me Tonight, I've been lonely for so long, Angel in my Heart and Handsome Molly.

Post of the year - hilarious! I once had a girlfriend that smoked more than she was acustomed to before a Who concert in 1997, we were near the back in an amphitheater standing in the aisle and she suddenly fell down and rolled all the way down the hill, about 70 feet thru the mud. She was not happy when I wallked down the hill, offered her a hand and deadpanned "you know, you're a dirty, dirty girl."

Almost happened at the O2 on 25/11 when Mick threatened to play Satanic in its entirety (guess hed'd bumped into this thread before the show) but decided to go with the two new songs instead...so I guess one could say they played all of their new songs in one show, unfortunately (or not) there were only two of them in 2012...

Anyway is there a site somewhere that lists the albums and the first time a song was played live?

Lou Reed played all of Magic & Loss once.

I would love to hear all of GHS.

When I saw the Who in 1982 the guy next to me put his head between his knees as the lights went down. He woke up during the scream in Won't Get Fooled Again.

I would have rather heard TSMR all the way through than those two new "songs".

Yes indeed...it was 2009, actually, and he also played "Greetings From Asbury Park," "The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle," "Darkness," "Born in the USA," and "Born To Run" (several times) on the last leg of the tour.

Of course they can - Mick Taylor is back!

Play all of Exile & Exile Rarities, then we would have a triple album played.

YES will play 3 entire albums on their next tour:

The set list for the upcoming Yes tour will certainly delight fans. The progressive rock band will play three albums from start-to-finish each evening – “The Yes Album,” “Close To The Edge” and “Going For The One.”
Each album represents a milestone for the band. Released in 1971, The Yes Album was the band’s third studio release. With songs such as “Your Move/I’ve Seen All Good People,” “Starship Trooper,” and “Yours Is No Disgrace,” the album fueled the band’s breakthrough in the U.S.

Released in 1973, Close To The Edge took progressive rock to new heights as the band cemented its reputation for sonic complexity. On one side you have Yes’ master stroke, the incredibly structured title track while side two is home to “And You And I” and “Siberian Khatru.”

Going For The One marked the band’s return to shorter songs, which, for Yes, meant most tracks on the album clocked in under 10 minutes. Along with the rocking title track, the band shined on numbers such as “Turn Of The Century,” “Parallels” and “Wonderous Stories.” For fans wanting something a bit longer, the band also included the 15-minute piece “Awaken.”

The band’s lineup has evolved somewhat since the albums were mastered in the 1970s. Today’s Yes includes co-founding member Chris Squire along with guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White and Asia keyboardist Geoff Downes. New to the band is vocalist Jon Davison, who joined earlier this year.

“I believe the only song not performed in concert is ‘A Venture’ from The Yes Album,” Squire said. “And probably the most tricky of all the songs planned for this set is ‘Turn Of The Century’ from Going For The One.”
The schedule comes with a caveat – due to time constraints, casino shows will feature only two albums – The Yes Album and Close To The Edge.

March 1 – West Wendover, Nev., Peppermill Concert Hall
March 3 – Seattle, Wash., Moore Theatre
March 5 – San Francisco, Calif., Warfield Theatre

I'm not usually a fan of when bands play albums in their entirety in one show. The stones quite rightly recognise the difference between what works on an album ans what works in a live show. If they were to do it the best live albums would be sticky fingers or let it bleed or some girls. Exile would be cool too but its too long and stuff like wanna see his face might not work. It is probably no coincidence that the albums that would work best live are also the ones where they've played most of that album live too.

Yep - except if you see that show at a casino - then you only get 2 albums.

Maybe Yes will be like The Stones and have their fans pick the 2 albums...... and which one will be neglected.
