Anyone know of any upcoming dvd releases? Will they ever release official versions of LET'S SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER? LADIES & GENTLEMEN...? What about the recent Rio (beach) show? I think it was filmed and shown in some US movie theaters via satellite...right? Any others?

Martin Scorcese is filming Beacon Theatre and making a documentary out of it?!

Hope the Stones don't get whacked!

I was just watching the STRIPPED MTV Special on Super VHS (almost as sharp as DVD without progressive scan being used) earlier today and thought why on earth isn't this out OFFICIALLY on DVD with some extra footage. The sound mix is SO GOOD (especially the recording studio footage from TOKYO) and great club show clips... I suppose they don't bring in enough money for the band to care so we have to waste time hunting down inferior bootlegs instead....SAD

MicksBrain,
are you able to make a DVD transfer of your S-VHS tape?
Is it better than the jointrip version ?

sweet neo con,
Let's spend the night Together exists as an official release. It has been release in Japan in 2003 (NTSC - RC 2)
No subtitles needed, there's no bonus, no interview, nothing but the original movie in improved quality compared to the good ol' VHS

It would be great if they released some anniversary version of Stripped. It could include this great TV-special as a bonus.

Recently released in Europe as well by Canal+ productions. Excellent version with widescreen image and the original trailer (with footage not in the proper movie) as bonus. In Holland for 9.99 euro only at Van Leest.

Doc, would you care for a trade with the Jap version? If so, drop me a line.

Get your hands on the 'Saitama ' Japanese 2006 DVD (Goldmasters Version) Boot
This highlights the 'Stones' at their rock & rolling Bluesy best and is on par with the 'Four Flicks' release.

as for the stones dvd releases, there is no point in putting them out without bonus stuff, i mean thats what dvds are about, EXTRAS, thats why i think voodoo
and bridges and at the max are worthless, now four flicks on the other hand is outstanding
