That would be a living hell logisically!! Imagine printing and distributing thousands of tickets to everyone with only 13 days before the show. My guess is that the shows will be at the Beacon and the tickets will be will call only.

Is the Beacon

you think? seems like a more likely, less complicated venue for a gig, no?

13 days to print, issue, sell and distribute 15,000 plus tickets averaging about $250 a head in an area where only 2 weeks ago they struggled to sell a stadium gig - and where theyve also gone on record that theyre playing a theatre show on the same night?

yeah - clinically insane.

I hope the beacon shows dont happen now, cant stand the fact of not getting in and it does not look good, these shows are for vips, family members, hangers on,the crew, and not to mention the clinton bash, we will be lucky if 500
regular fans like us get in for both shows combined, its a shame

Secretly, how many people think: If I can't go, I hope it sucks. . .

the thought hasn't crossed my mind - i haven't been shut out of a show i've wanted to see yet - except the sold out '81 show in chicago - i was too young to know about scalpers

If we, sorry they, answered, then it wouldnt be a secret, would it?

Nah. Seriously, I hope its great for everyone who gets in. Can only wish that they do more such shows in other locations and have a sensible system for genuine fans to get tickets, because if this is the only method for scoring tickets, its beyond idiotic

Maybe the first show will be for VIPs, but the second will be for harcore fans as us!

I suspect that on the floor at the show on the 29th, there will be virtually no owners of the A Bigger Bang CD.

I suspect that on the stage at the show on the 29th there will be virtually no songs played from the A Bigger Bang CD.

I want this to be the best club show ever! Even if I don't get in. We will all be able to see it. If Martin has control over the filming of it, we will most likey have one of the best concert films ever made! Just think how much better he must be now almost 30 years after making the AWESOME "Last Waltz" Film! I can't wait to see how it comes out!
