Let's sing for the hard workin people!

Let's sing forthe " Salt of the Earth"

I don't think it's about the money.

I think its about playing to as many people as possible on one tour and to mark their spot in the record books with a record that will never be broken.

Youre right KC STONE- $450.00 per ticket, two tickets, parking, a drink, you are looking well over $1000.00 for one show, shit some of us go to more than one show...

ANYONE who has been to Soldier Field even in SEPTEMBER knows that booking S.F. in October is/was pure insanity...

The B2B Tour opened in September in Soldier Field and you froze your balls off at that gig...

I once watched the Chicago Marathon in October and had to wear a parka...

This is the single-most stupid schedule I ever heaerd of, they should have had the concert at United Center, end of story.

Soldier Field was probably cheaper to rent this time of year than the United Center. AND they can fit more people. More people = more $$$$. They just didn't anticipate people not wanting to pay mega bucks on the Stones for the 4th time within the past year.

Well the first may be true, and the 2nd is definitely true... BUT...

Since when is this tour about making total dollars over putting on the best possible concert ?????

As soon as they start deciding based on total dollars rather than best overall total concert experience for the fans, they are going to suffer, maybe that's the message of Soldier Field in middle of october...

I just hope someone is around to learn the lesson.

People paid megabucks for even more shows on the 40 licks tour. and about the same on b2b.. at least 4.. if you count the no security gig...

It's a question of picking the best venues, and they didn't do it this time at Soldier Field... i mean just look at the pictures of ronnie dressed up in 3 or 4 coats... imagine how the fans were feeling.

agreed ..posted similar before..... whatever bonehead arranged the badly scheduled stadium gigs oughta be fired...plain and simple. ...and should have been arenas this time, Except for the really underplayed areas (montana, idaho, louisville, regina) where they rightly played stadiums.

And the ticket prices were and are outrageously expensive. No tickets should have been above $200. A fair three tiered pricing in a stadium could have been $200,$99 and $50, These prices would have ensured sell outs and still have made the Stones plenty of dough...

The Idaho show is at an indoor arena.
But I see your point, and agree with you.
