I think it's an '50s Gibson PAF in Micawber, not sure about the one in the sunburst Tumbling Dice guitar (it's got the exposed coils).

no. ive noticed him using the middle positoin with both neck and bridge working at the same time for songs like CAGWYW and Brown Sugar

Trying to find out about pick-ups, volume pots and wiring in those Teles is like lookin for the Holly Grail. Everyone has an idea but knowone knows for sure.
