maybe they were weaving a basket, cause it sure wasnt guitar weaving
Thank you. I agree totally. I'm sick of fans defending the shitty guitar interplay as "weaving". IT SUCKS!!!!. I know..I need to calm down and put on ya-yas or 72/73 boot and here some REAL guitar playing.....aaaahhhhhh HEAVEN
Consider that version and the next half a dozen as "rehearsals." It's obvious this song was put on stage very prematurely. Had he rehearsed this during their usual pre-tour rehearsal-time of 2 weeks...the song would've sounded 10 times better.

they could rehearse it every day for two years and, as long as it still had the horns and backup singers, it would still be shite.
I think it's a bit slow and am not sure that the horns bring something new or good
It should be a guitar set like she's so cold which I found quite good during the BB Tour. Can you imagine she's so cold with horns ? no it wouldn't do.
I don't like the horns too but it is a good idea to put it back.I have always loved this song. I like also watching Lisa moving & dancing on this song !!! for sure she got them !!!
I never liked this song, but this one is better than I've heard before. Revamped and rearranged. And Keef doesn't sing like he swallowed a goat anymore.

Never liked it. Same with Coming Down Again (Although this one is better than Lil' T & A). The Worst, Losing My Touch, Thru & Thru, Theif In The Night, This Place Is Empty, Happy, You Got The Silver are all better I think. And there's even songs by Keith I haven't mentioned. Little T & A is in the bottom 4 for me.
Thanks for sharing keef81. Yes, too slow and those horns are awful, but I don't find the BU vocals making such a bad effect here. From I can receive Ron Wood does not sound that bad either.
But wait a minute, how is the pitch accuracy on those thingies? From memory (too lazy to double-check), my guitar tells me (!) that '06 one is in D... Supposed to be in D?
i cant believe the negativity, the horns barely effect the song in my opinion. great sounding version, and i appluad keith for bringing this one out, as it has become one of my favorite songs of his.
I haven't seen the new version yet...but the original and early versions were certainly in D ..with the verses sung over the C chord and the chorus coming in on Bb to F and D to A.
Keiths vocals sound real good, and so does Ronnie on Guitar,I see it getting better and better and Keith playing more guitar as the tour go's on. Might as well get used to the horns and backing vocals. PS,how can so many people on this forum beg for the song and then complain about it?!!Wow,don;t you know Beggars can't be Choosers.
I think Ronnie's playing on this is superb, and notice how he seems in control of the band on this one. This is fantastic - he really is a great musician and its so good to see him sober and on top form. I do think the horns are probably unnecessary on this one though - what they play is repetitive and unimaginative. Still, its great to see it in the set. And You Got the silver is an absolute gem. Really glad they boys are mixing up the setlist. My only complaint is: Why only 19 songs?????
Drop the horns and Lisa's vocals (I love her voice, but female vocals just won't do with this one) and all backup vocals as well, rehearse it a little bit more, it will sound a lot better.
