Blanco Facil by a Mexican singer who goes by the name Chetes (actual name is Gerardo Garza). I was turned on to him after reading an article in the New York Times a month or so ago titled "The New Sound of Mexico, Sung in a Nashville Accent." Garza was approached by Ken Coomer, the former drummer for Wilco, to produce his album. After Garza heard the music of Wilco, he said that he had found the sound that he was looking for. Being a Wilco nut, I had to grab this album last Tuesday, the day that it was released in the U.S.
And Garza/Chetes happens to be adorable --never a bad thing in the world of pop, no matter what language it's sung in.

Thanks Rock__Im going to look in to Photoshop. Nice work you do. One of my programs has a capture video feature on it, and I was gonna try and capture some shots from my RIO 2006 DVD. Just haven't gotten around to experimenting with it yet.

That's right!! Forgot about that--the boot I have has this ridiculous edit and they break it into 2 songs. For Your Love smokes.
What a shame! I remember the blue Moody Blue album. I hadn't seen a record any color other than black before and thought it was the coolest thing.
My mother & stepfather saw him on that tour in Lakeland, Florida.
My stepfather was working security at the concert and likes to tell the story about Elvis pointing him out as he was standing next to the stage. My stepdad is a heavy man who would likely have stood out in the crowd. Elvis said something along the lines of "They sure do grow 'em big down here" while looking right at my stepdad.

Really cool story, WMiller! But...what did you mean by "what a shame" ? (By "no words", I meant that it's such a strong and moving performance, I can't find words for it)

He clearly hadn't lost his voice at the time of his death. Who knows what he would have done musically had he not died (I think we collectively theorized over this in a "What if Elvis hadn't died" thread awhile back), but he cleary had more in the tank, voice wise.
It's a shame that we missed more of what he could have given us.
I assumed that you meant that it left you speechless.
