This is a great video, a kick-ass song, great hair and SUPERB acting.

I have no idea why this song popped into my head, I sure hope it leave soon though.

Lukester, saw that lately you posted twice with Tubes tracks. This is the first time I have ever seen someone else be into them.
I grew up in Rome and we didn't speak English so well. So we didn't "get" ceratan things that were very USA. The Tubes (especially the Double Live album) was one of our favorite albums. It was real dangerous and slick. I thought this was all for real. I move to NYC and suddenly "understood" a lot of what they were talking about. saw it all firsthand. And they just lost much of their glitter to me. I still think they kicked ass at times. Prince, the drummer, Sputnik, Cotten and Re Styles I all like.

re: The Tubes.

I have a very vague memory of seeing a music video of them, and Fee Waybill was nude. Did I dream that? I don't know why I would dream of seeing him nude.

Thanks Chelsea.....I got turned on to the Tubes when I was visiting in Japan in 1976 and 1978, by some other American kids living there. I've seen them twice. I gotta tell you though, most of my friends here in NC have never heard of them (except for that "She's A Beauty" song). I love that campy "Don't Touch Me There" song with the Re and Fee duet.

I saw them live several times and also saw Fee on talkshows sevral times and I came to this conclusion: Fee Waybill is a complete whanker.

Cindy......I would love to spend an hour or two in your dreams, just to have a look around.........All I can say about the Fee Waybill dream video is that he actually has been known to "flash" in concert.......I saw them perform at a Halloween party in Chapel Hill where he coaxed a co-ed to flash by saying, "I'll show you mine if you show me yours." ....and he did

I'll try to watch some David Lynch movies before I go to bed, that should mess up my head a little bit and make my dreams that much more interesting.

Roy Buchanan - Ft. Worth '78 - there should have been a federal investigation as to why this guy wasn't more famous......maybe the second most amazing talent on the axe after Jimi that I have ever heard....

Beatles - Eight Days a Week from the Anthologies. I love this song. Their voices go together perfectly on this.

So Young. I'm almost to the part where Mick tries to put his dick back on a leash.

Great rocker, though the outtake version from the 70s is even better.

I'm listening to Cry For Love by Iggy Pop.
