but the song aint call "@#$%& @#$%& @#$%& @#$%&" just because of that is it? winking smiley

Good point, but in the case of Star Star, the RSs refer to it as @#$%& when they feel like it, so that gives us the right to too.

BTW, i'm listening to this song on the Brussels Affair right this very second, that's how Mick introduces it.

So we got one title on album sleeves & another live, right?
Guess my sex liberal back ground as a Swede makes me confused.
Here we spell & speak cock & @#$%& & @#$%& and @#$%& whenever we want...

(c*ck & f*ck & c*nt and w*nker) = Sorry!

hehe - that reminds me.

Baboon, did you and your family ever drive into a cave in Norway and not come out for 3 days?

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

Cindy: ¿Que? Whats that cave thing? I'm 25% Norweigan
(and that part of me swears all the time). Was there three weeks ago.
No cave but a nice 50th berfday party w/ much Stones in it.

Erik: Thank us ya get new words to use in yer daily cursin':
I hear "javlar" etc all the time when in Norway.

Once again I wanna apologize for the Star Star-confusion!
Still, though, personally, I take offense with all this @#$%& talk:
I sense many Northern Americans
(goddamit; now I'll have them on me throat too) tend to be slightly neurotic
when it comes to petty morals. Why couldnt we just call the bloomin song
Star Star?

hehehe, just a funny story I heard once about some Swedes.

We can call it Star Star, i'm just saying I don't think it's wrong to call it the other. @#$%& is what the band wanted to call it, so that should hold some weight.

Anyway, I'm not trying to be argumentative, I hope these posts aren't coming across that way.

BBro - Maybe you've noticed before, but I openly claim to be one of the least knowledgeable fans around (My Obsession with them is fairly new). I initially posted the title as Star Star. I later, after referring to Keno's lyric page, changed it to Starf%#$er, in an act of rebellion against the overlord.

I'll change it back to Star Star so as not to offend, but my point is that lyrics in RS songs, or quotes attributed to RS members should have exemption from the "No swearing" edict as a first posting. If someone finds their use offensive, they can ask that the poster edit them. I think most people on this sight are decent enough to do that.

Happy 50th!

Only 42. But Bill's turnin' 70 in exactly 14 days!
It was my uncle who turned 50; he introduced the Stones to me
some time around 1973 (maybe thats why I'm so hooked up on GHS).

Well, night, no offense... @#$%&, Star Star whatever!
Dont give a shite winking smiley
