Soft Parade's Puur album. SP were a little known Dutch band released through David A. Stewart's former record label, Anxious Records, in 1992. Is has a kinda Doorsy feel.

REM doing Aftermath. On the radio. One of my REM favorites. Which reminds me of how important it is for a band to perform their favorites live. Aftermath was a big hit in Norway last summer before REM perfomed live in Oslo. I was looking forward to hear it live but they never did it. Too bad. Like going to a Stones show without hearing Gimme Shelter!
Welcome to the listening-club BV! Right now, I'm doing the Five Guys Walk Into A Bar box. "You Can Make Me Dance, You Can Make Me Sing, You Can MAke Me Do Anything" is really grooving!
Red Hot..Billy "The Kid" Emerson's original Sun recording from 1954. Recorded some 3 years before Billy Lee Riley laid down his own blistering version in that same Memphis studio at 706 Union Ave .....
That's quite some knowledge and some collection you've got, Rockman. We're other posters are not worthy. I've never heard of Billy Emorson, but I'm allready sure that it is essential listening.

That's a good decision, Ryanpow, just make sure to save some bucks for popcorn and a beer at the Oakland concert first.

No, it's pretty cheap, It was about 80 dollars where I live, but it's probably cheaper in America.

I brought red-wine on a pepsi-bottle for 3 of the UK shows. They said it was OK (they thought it was pepsi), but I saw some people who had to leave some glass bottles and beer-bottles outside. If you're going for whiskey, perhaps put it on a champagne-soda-bottle (if you got that kind over there). They even discovered StonesTods pocket-reserve in UK!
yeah I heard about that incident! at the last show I was really shocked at how easy it was to bring my flask in. No one even looked in my pockets or patted me down or anything. but that was over in SF. I guess every venues security is different. I could put booze in a soda bottle.
