First 6 songs are good, the others very average or poor.
The Rick Rubin produced track is maybe the worst song on the album.

Some albums I bought last month:

Under the Skin, Lindsey Buckingham (excellent)
Scissor Sisters & Ta-Dah, Scissor Sisters (very entertaining)
The Captain & The Kid, Elton John (excellent)
Painkiller, Judas Priest (excellent)
B'Day, Beyonce (the best r&b of the moment - first 2 singles are crap, but the other songs are great)
A Matter of Life and Death + Powerslave + Somewhere In time, Iron Maiden (3 great albums)
The Lost Crowes, The Black Crowes (a welcome addition to my crowes collection...amorica is my favorite crowes album... so I really love this release)
20 YO, Janet Jackson (crap album)
Futuresex/Lovesounds, Justin Timberlake (as said: 6 good songs)
Centerfield, John Fogerty (Excellent)
The River, Bruce Springsteen (a classic of course)
Reign in Blood, Slayer (aweful, the worst album I ever bought)
Running On Empty, Jackson Browne (not bad, not great)
Belladonna, Stevie Nicks (nice album)

Recent purchases....
Neil Young's Greatest Hits, class.
Lily Allen - Lily Allen, young British singer, sort of ska/reggae/hip hop, good stuff.
Steel Pulse - Handsworth Revolution, 80's Brum reggae band.
The Feeling - 12 Stops and Home, sort of a new Supertramp in my opinion. And i don't mean that in a bad way.
Primal Scream- Riot City Blues, trashy rock and roll, good but not classic.

Mink DeVille--Le Chat Bleu (Expanded Version)

The third album, with 3 songs Willy co-wrote with Doc Pomus. A classic set that Capitol--in all their Record Company wisdom--wouldn't release in the United States. It came out in France, got excellent reviews, and the import started flying off the shelves. When Capitol in the U.S. saw what was happening, they decided to put it out--BUT THEY HAD TO MESS WITH IT--replacing the Queen Ida song "Mazurka" with another tune. An exec was quoted that he wouldn't put out a song with a "damn accordion." What a visionary...

This re-issue on Raven has the original sequence, plus the U.S.added track and some live versions. To know this album is to love it.

last cd I bought was Jerry Lee's latest. Listened to it about five times. Album of the year - yeah, even better than Bob's. And, he doesn't need any of the guest musicians - he's the star of every single track.

it's a fine album, for sure, but i wouldn't rate it higher
than the new Dylan.

Omega's album "The Hall Of Floaters In The Sky" from 1975.
Alas also the digital version suffers from the lack of true bass sound.
But the music is great, great. Recommend the Hungarian original though
(this produced and recorded in Germany).

Cardigans Acoustic 2006, some radio show. Pleasant, sounds good.

My wife purchased Bo Kaspers latest, which actually was rock-ish and for the first time
I dont only accept them but also like it. Maybe I'm gettin' old.

The collected works of Frank Zappa - about 90 albums (including boots) in one massive 10 GB download. Took me two weeks to download it. Some pretty mindblowing stuff in there, I must say.
