Thanks STG(and everybody else). Now that I've reached middle age,I'll be wearing the cranky pants more often. Yes the ones that go all the way up to my chest.
"It's just some friends of mine and they're busting down the door"
I am about halfway thru Mr. Wyman's book..."Stone Alone", and wondering if any of you are old/young enough to have been at any of the early Stones shows described in the book?
The small clubs that held 500 people, yet 2000 were crammed into the place? Where the Stones could only play for 30 mins or so before the crowd climbed up on the stage and the band had to flee?
I wonder what Brian Jones, who didn't make it past 27, would think about this wide range of demographic amongst fanbase of the band he founded. No market analysis or statistics can tell you that.
Thanks RP. I just picked up some cool belated Stones related presents from a friend of mine. The Hyde Park concert on dvd and a cool book I've never seen before called Love You Live/Truth For The Common Fan. Lots of cool pics. Never heard of this one before. But they warned me they are out of Stones ideas for future presents. LOL.
