We were in Munich yesterday, where we had an absolutely awsome evening with the Stones!!! It was just a perfect night, and everything was the way it was supposed to be...

Today, we went into a music store in central Munich, and found the new Rolling Stones single "Biggest Mistake", both the limited edition heavyweight red vinyl, and the CD single.

To my amazement, I realized that they come with a few songs that were recorded live at The Olympia in Paris in 2003 (a show that I attended back then).

On the CD single, there are two songs ("Dance Pt. 1", and "Before They Make Me Run"), and on the vinyl single one other song ("Hand of Fate"). Thought you guys might want to know too... So get a hand on both of them!

Is there another version with tracks from the Super Bowl, or was that cancelled?

I ordered a cd version of BM through amazon, but they did not list the tracks...Are they the same bonus trax? I do understand the version with just BM, BM instrumental, & the album version of RJ was only a promo lineup...

TeleK: No idea whether it was "Theresienwiese". It's the saturn very close to the "Rathaus". If I remember correctly, it's "Marienplatz" or something like that... But you have to hurry. I picked up the last CD single (at the time), but there very several vinyl singles left. Let me know whether you managed to get some...

You're right, but I won't buy the CD in internet because, 1: It's so expensive (the Euros is like gold in my country) and 2: I already have Four Flicks.
I bought the import of Rain Fall Down for 16 bucks, three times that in my local money (50 pesos).

This single is supposed to be released in Europe around August 22, but it seems like there is an electronics chain in Germany having it on sale already, as of last week. Probably some kind of pre-sales deal.

Actually, the single was initially supposed to be released in Europe in mid-July (according to my record dealer), but is currently listed as "delayed"... This is why I was so suprised to have found it on the shelves of that store in Southern Germany...

Rest of Europe/World will get the release at August, 21.

What's the logic of that delayed release? The tour will be almost over when Biggest Mistake is available!

Very simple: All fans worldwide should buy these german MCD and 7", quickly it will run to No.1 in Germany!

Most Stones CDs are produced by EMI Music Netherlands BV, Biggest Mistake too.

Just walked into a record store and bought Biggest Mistake, so apparently it is readily available in Holland too. Weird release date then, august 22nd...

What amazes me: they burried the horns in the mix (Dance)! Sounds totally diferent then the 4 Flicks version.

Business-minded Keef's choice of BTMMR ashines in new light...

Why Keith would ever want any live version of BTMMR has me miffed.

Oddly, that was not the case when Janet Jackson was the performer.
