Dear Dr's sources in NYC are indicating a multiple night stand at the garden
You're joking right? A multiple night stand at the Garden in November? Guess the NY Rangers and the NY Knicks will have to be on the road simultaneously for that to happen.

Hasn't MSG already been rumored for October? As all indicators suggest the tour is starting in the East and working West, October seems more feasible. There is a rumor of San Francisco in early November, with dates in Asia following later that month.

He was the star of the 1970s television series, The Mod Squad. Sorry about the incorrect spelling of Mr. Cohl.
I said it on Shidoobee and I'll say it here. We can have the whole damn tour listed here right now and it doesn't mean shit unless we can get tickets before anyone else. Other than that what is the value of the information??? It's useless and it's always subject to change until the official announcement is made.
I dont think there'll be the demand for "multiple" nights anywhere - even MSG. Maybe if it was in the first run of shows at the start of the tour (like Sept '05) but when you come back every few months, its something of a law of diminishing returns. It wasnt THAT difficult to get tickets for the 2 MSG shows in January, and with this being their third run through New York in just over a year, its hard to see them selling out 3 nights or more at those prices.
With ticket prices this high, instead of playing multiple night stands in one city, theyve tended on this tour and the last to return to major markets a few months later, which increases the public's ability to go to more than one show. Not a lot of people have enough money to see two or three back to back shows at $450 a time.
or maybe they can forget msg and other arenas and play the PROMISED club gigs this is the reason i havent cancelled my rs.com membership, still holding out for a miracle club ticket

Well, keep in mind the whole Keith scare. People might very well figure that this is IT for the Stones, and that they better catch them now, or never. People here in New York have cash falling out of their asses, and are willing to drop 600 bucks on a night on the town, so if they think its now or never, the stones could sell out the Garden from now until next Tuesday.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with the Undercover album; it would be a treat to hear more songs off of that: She's Was Hot, Pain of Love, etc. Dirty Work is a whole other story.

maybe, but it still depends. if they do like the Cream last year and only play MSG, with no other US stops, they could sell out a lot of shows, people will come to NYC, be a lot easier for them, less wear and tear.

Are these the same casual fans that only go to one or two Stones shows in their entire lives and will only tolerate 5% of their songs? They make up 90% of the crowd, right? These people are going to travel from all over the country to N.Y. for a band that they only know nine songs by?
ive seen different posts on iorr that said the stones were rumoured to play msg in september, october, and now november, so im not gonna believe anything until it is officially announced
