The sound of silence except for the old prop style plane flying overhead, the birds squabbling at the feeder, the pond water gurgling. A music unto itself.

Beggar's Banquet side one...but switching to the great 28 when I get to the end of the side.

just for posterity...I don't think I actually have the Great 28...maybe on CD. Listening instead to Chuck Berry's Golden Decade.

[www.youtube.com] , nice country song, didn't chart well back in '67 but I really enjoy it. Pedal Steel, percussion, guitar and vocals are all great.

My friend likes this with Chuck Berry and turned me on to it, concerto in B Goode. Very different from say the shorter songs, instrumental. 18 minutes.

They play that song in the movie about Brian Clough, The Damned United.

The movie is good enough, as to whether it portrays history well; I'm not so sure but it's fun.

I confess I can not get away from some of the songs on this Panic at the Disco album. Somewhere in there a) the singer became very good, and b) someone started writing good songs. I;m not really that familiar with them earlier; I think they were just really annoying.
But "Impossible Year" is straight from the Vegas/lee Hazelwood school; as is the single "Death of a Bachelor".
