Mail from ticketnet.fr. They confirm tour will start on 8th of july.

Madame, Monsieur,

Le Producteur de la tournée mondiale des Rolling Stones : TNA/CPI, a officiellement annoncé le report des 15 premiers concerts de la tournée européenne. Ces concerts étaient programmés entre le 27 mai 2006 à Barcelone en Espagne et le 5 juillet 2006 à Zagreb en Croatie. La tournée européenne redémarrera le 8 juillet 2006.

Les 2 concerts programmés au Stade de France le 3 juin et le 2 juillet 2006 sont donc reportés à des dates ultérieures. Ces nouvelles dates seront très prochainement confirmées.

Nous vous conseillons de conserver vos billets dans l'attente de la confirmation des dates de report. Nous ne manquerons pas de vous tenir informé par email sur les dates et modalités du report.

Cependant si ces dates de report devant être officialisées dans les prochains jours ne vous conviennent pas ou si vous souhaitez procéder au remboursement nous vous invitons à nous retourner l'original des billets par lettre recommandée afin que nous procédions au remboursement de vos places (merci de conserver une photocopie des billets) à l'adresse suivante :

World tour concert promoters TNA/CPI officially announced that the first 15 shows on The Rolling Stones ‘A Bigger Bang’ European Tour from Barcelona, Spain on May 27 through to Zagreb, Croatia on July 5 have now been postponed. European Tour will start on July 8th 2006.
The 2 shows at Stade de France (June 3rd and July 2nd 2006) have been postponed until new dates. These dates will be soon confirmed.

We recommend you to hold on to your tickets until the re scheduled dates are announced in the next few days. We will inform you of new dates by sending you an email.

However, if you don't want to attend the new dates, we can cancel your tickets and refund your account. So you must send us by registered secured mail, the original tickets (carefully kept a photocopy of the tickets) to the following address :

They said the same thing a week ago in their original e-mail. No change there.

What is different is they are now officially offering refunds even before you know what the re-scheduled dates are going to be.

True. But having all the rumours in mind it felt relaxing to recive that mail now.

Yes. In the sense that they underline that new dates will be found at The Stade de France.

And 8 july isn't the 10th of july.. on wich the first concert after the 15 postponed should have taken place... so good news !!!

certainly makes me feel better reading it. Plus, theyre confirming there will be new dates, which is a good sign

Right, positive things are a-happenin'.
Maybe one may go see the Stones this summer in Göteborg after all...
BTW I even got words from my slow radio station they want some more done
on the Stones... "Something is happenin here,
what it its aint exactly clear.... "
