Not from the beginning. At least after May or June last year

But reading this thread made me realise that there must hundreds, maybe thousands of fans that don't know this. This is really serious. Good thinking Gazza.

Thanks Gazza.

If there ever was a price for a good thread : )

I don't think we attend the same concerts this summer, but I'll forever owe at least one pint. Or a triple pint : )

And let's keep this on the first page as long as possible.

And btw : The tricky sentence / message from rs.com in the welcome e-mail was :
"All services are renewed automatically".
Haven't got a clue if this legally ok, but it ain't exactly a precise warning about automatically renewed memberships....

Log in and go to ---> My Account ---> Current Membership Term.

In the 'Current Offers' you will see if 'Automatically Renewed' is set to 'No' or 'Yes'.

at the bottom Note you can tick whatever you need.

Folks like this deserve to be scammed.

Thanks a ton Gazza...I'm one of the idiots who didn't read everything in the account...I was stupid enough to buy memberships so that I could buy tickets...not for the nonsense they put on there. Guess I am not loyal a fan enough.

So...who thinks the Stones will come out with a new legacy nonsense for those who got renewed so when they play the US again, those folks will get first crack at tickets? I wouldn't be surprised if they have something like this just to piss us all off.

how many people check "my account" AFTER theyve bought their presale tickets? It certainly wasnt obvious when you buy the tickets, nor was it indicated in the welcome e-mail.

spare me the "loyal fan" crap. I dont need a lecture on 'loyalty' from someone I dont know - nor does anyone else. Regardless of what 'spin' you wish to put on it, its still hidden away in such a way that most people arent going to be readily aware of the problem until its too late

So will renewing (or allowing your membership to be renewed) give you first access to presale seats for the US in the fall, whereas will buying your membership at the time of buying tickets give you second access to presale tickets (as was done for the 05-06 US tour with the pre and post May 9 memberships)?

If you have forgotten all the accounts you have, RS.com will send you all the logins and passwords that are associated with your email address(es).

when you have the logins and passwords, you can log in, go to 'my account' and proceed with the cancellation(s)

To get those forgotten accounts, go to 'Log In', and then click on the 'Forgotten your password' Enter your email address, and voila' you'll soon have all the accounts mailed to you. If you have more than one email address, repeat the process with each address.

enjoy, isn't this fun? smiling smiley

Has anyone gotten their money back who didn't use their presale. I have not been successful, either has one of my friends. We both were hoping for club shows as promised. These guys certainly know how to turn-off fans.

I cancelled April 23rd, they approved it April 30th, and a $100 credit was issued to my debit card today May 9th.

I was thinking the same thing but cancelled because there are tons of Pre 5/9/05 passcodes still unused. Could you imagine the uproar from those cats if the ticket pool got diluted with the Post 5/9/05 holders. I am curious however as to how that is going to work. To keep it fair wouldn't there have to be a 3rd presale?

Well done for warning folks, Gazza.

I would just point out, so as people don't personalise it on the Stones, (and I'm not saying for a minute that you are), that exactly the same thing happened to me over at Bowienet, which, surprise, surprise, is also run by Ultrastar.

(In fact the message board layout is identical as are many other things on the two sites.)
