Hear me ringing big bell tolls
Hear me singing soft and low
I've been begging on my knees
I've been kickin', help me please
Hear me prowlin'
I'm gonna take you down
Hear me growlin'
Yeah, I've got flat-ten feet now, now, now, now
Hear me howlin'
And all, all around your street now
Hear me knockin'
And all, all around your town

yes, you're right, it's "chinese boots" on live licks

but he forgot to sing "I got a fight in me" or "flatten feet" (whatever it is)

Why they never did that one live when Taylor was in the band is one of those GIANT mysteries. TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE could have been great too......

They tried CYHMK once or twice with taylor and I guess it didnt work for some reason. I think one of the times was at Newcastle. If they ever do Time Waits for no one, Im willing to bet mick will change the lyrics to "Destroy a MAN's face". like when he changed the lyrics to some girls "WHITE girls just wanna ...".

How about singing MIDNIGHT RAMBLER in the 3rd person? Someone mentioned that on here and then he did it in RIO. The Jag is getting a bit freaked out? hmmmm....

Someone must have read your post, since here we are in 2013, and Mick Taylor playing on CYHMK. From the Staples Center, 5/20/2012, long version. He sings "Chinese Boots". Video at this link: [www.guitarworld.com]

Yeah even on the recent clip from LA he is singing Chinese boots! And also on Live Licks, but I do believe the studio version it is "nasty" boots.

No it's flatten feet.
That's why he also complains "you got nasty boots..."
The song is about footproblems.

I though the line was "yeah you got massive boobs"?

Ok, I have just listened to 7 different versions, including the studio in very good headphones (with no hearing loss). Seems like it is Plastic Boots for the studio and the live versions up to Licks. For a good source check out the HBO Rehearsals boot , where he clearly says Plastic Boots. Additionally, the cool cover done by the Bamboos uses Plastic Boots as well.
However, from Licks till the LA show he is singing Chinese Boots. I wonder if, that was influenced from their Asian tour during Licks? And it stuck, Mick thinking it sounded cooler?
